MPM701 – BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT
Problem Analysis
Problem identification
The immediate problem in the business is the improper inventory management of the
company. No dedicated staff is present in the organization for monitoring the inventory level
of the organization and it leads to the lack of proper information about the stock of the
company and the customers are not being provided with the products that are required
immediately. When any customer has placed the order of the watches, and the product is not
present in the organization then it is needed that the company first creates a purchase order
for the products and gains the product. The customer is made to wait for significant time and
till the company has the product in their possession, they are not able to deliver the products
to the customers. The leads to significant customer dissatisfaction and revenue of the
company is also decreased.
Causes and consequences of problem
The main cause of this issue is the lack of dedicated staff for monitoring the inventory
level of the company. The consequence of this issue is that the customers are not being
provided with the products immediately whenever needed. There is significant increase in the

Business process architecture could be described as overview of the set of business
processes that effectively reveals the inter-relations that might be extended with the
