This document provides a critique of an article on business process modelling. It covers the intention and content of the article, research methods and findings, problems and highlights, and conclusion. The article aims to bring out a generic structure for business process modelling and proposes a model that comprises of two major features. The research methods used by the authors are a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The authors have represented various concerns associated with the different business process models in terms of the mapping of the characteristics and components with the model. The critique concludes that the generic structure for business process modelling that has been developed is in accordance with the essential components and is developed in such a manner that the specific business conditions and scenarios are considered.
