3BUSINESS RESEARCH IntroductionIn the current business scenario, companies struggle many issues to generate competitive benefit with respect to enhance the growth of business in future. Organizations are facing higher competition in local as well as international market caused by the digitalization and globalization. In rapidly changing industries, organizations are dependent on the innovative approach to create and keep their competitive benefits (Gretzel, et al., 2015). In the current business period, the organization uses innovative techniques for managing higher competitivebenefits. Open data could consider as the government information and machine-readable datawhich could be available for everyone as it would be imperative for managing the consumers at international level. In the business period, organizations and individuals depend on the open data because it offers a new technique for innovation in the business (Ojo, et al., 2015). This report concentrates on the open data and evaluations and how it will be executed in the companies. This report discusses how business could be innovative by applying the open data. Moreover, different recommendations would be presented in the report for businesses toexecute the open data for promoting business innovation. 4BUSINESS RESEARCH Project scopeThe major scope of this research is to gain the understanding about the role of open data in the business innovation. This project supports to examine different kinds of literature in with respect to make innovation in the business by using the open data. It enables the organization to gain their understanding of business innovation that assist them in addressing the market gaps and developing new goods and services to create competitive benefits. The researcher also gain their best understanding about business innovation and open data caused of using many academic journals for completing their research. Summary of literature reviewThe innovation could play an imperative role in the business growth. The innovation role is growing among companies for getting the higher competitive benefit. Moreover, organizations use strategic policies for enchasing the innovation level in the organization and gain efficiency as it would support the organization to get the competitive benefit. In addition, it is also analyzed that different organizations use open data with respect to develop innovative goods and services, which could support to fill the gap and creates income and obtain economic, social, and environmental advantages (Jung and Park 2015). It can also be summarized that open data could be information that could freely accessible by the public without any restricts of copyrights and patents. It is also evaluated that open data is growing that enhance in intellectual property rights. It is also analyzed that the application of open data is enchased caused by enhancement of internet and online based services. The launch of different open data government initiatives considers Data. gov, Data. gov. in the open data as it would be supportive to increase the popularity of open data (Davies and Perini, 2016). For illustration Barack Obama on oath as the president of us on January 2009 and he used memorandum transparency and open government that concentrates on approving the government data transparency.
