Article 1: the impact of training and development on employee performance: A case study on
Escon consulting.
The research approach which is taken in the research is inductive research approach as
this is the qualitative research. Inductive approach is the process which is used for evaluating
qualitative data (THE IMPACT OF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT ON EMPLOYEE
PERFORMANCE: A CASE STUDY OF ESCON CONSULTING., 2016). Inductive research is
based on new theory generation which has emerged from the data.
Nature of context:
Study is focusing on employee performance of Escon which is impacted by training and
development. Training and development is the important method which improves performance
of employees at workplace. It is helpful in gaining knowledge and skills and also builds expertise
within employees. Ineffective training can slow organisation growth and also organisation cannot
able to achieve objectives at decided timeframe.
Research problem:
Major problem in the research is that it is limited to the escon employees only. To whom
questionnaire will be distributed in order to take responses. Other company’s employees are not
considered to only viewpoint of escon employees will be considered.
Use of primary and secondary data:
Primary and secondary both sources are used in the study. For primary source questionnaires are
distributed among 58 employees of escon. For the secondary research literature review is
conducted in the report.
Data collection instruments:
Random sampling method is used for selecting the respondents for this research. As employees
of escon are selected randomly from the company. All the information is collected through
questionnaire.
Data analysis:
In the current investigation thematic perception test technique is used.
It is the qualitative research so this is the reason of using this technique. Thematic test is
the test which explains the ambiguous scenes. It is also called as picture interpretation technique.
