EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Business simulation for an organization is a tool made of organizing of
development and learning. With the help of business simulation individuals in a
business get use to the strategies and for improving their business skills. This project is
a simulation of a company about its business activities for least five years. In this project
the first part will discuss the vision and strategy to simulation about HR, values, vision
and mission. This project will help in reviewing the performance of a company on each
year. In this project the performance of the company is reviewed on the basis of
competitive analysis. In this project the results of the performance is shown with the
help of Position, KPIs and financial performance. The performance analysis is also done
by evaluation of company's Strategy, marketing, Product development and response
towards world events. For development of future plans for a company key decisions will
be defined for identification of any changes to current strategy and also by
recommending the company for potential growth.
MAIN BODY
Description of the company, vision and strategy
The chosen company for this simulation is Infosys Ltd. This company is a
multinational company which provides its customers with consultation towards business,
information technology and also other outsourcing services. The headquarters of this
company is situated in Bangalore. This company is the second largest IT company in
India (Bhambhani, Sainy and Gupta, 2018). This company was founded in 1981 by 7
engineers in city of Pune. Then this company later moved to Bangalore in 1983.
Strategy :
In the business simulation of this company the strategy will be analyse the
performance of the company in the 5 yeas. This strategy will include the performance
review on the basis of competitive analysis. With the help of this strategy the Position
Infosys will be shown by utilizing KPIs and financial performance. This strategy will also
allow in analysation of its performance by evaluation of company's strategy, marketing,
product development and response towards world events. Future plans of Infosys will
be developed after the analysation of its performance in 5years. This company will be

also provided recommendation for improvement of its business in this strategy
(Bhardwaj, 2018).
Vision :
Some other strategies which are used in the simulation of a company
are,vision ,value and mission. Vision Strategy is the strategy of setting a goal, this
strategy of is the execution of plans and tactics for achieving the vision as the goal. The
strategy of value is a type of investment strategy which involves stocks which appears
for trading. Mission in a strategy is the statement which defines the way a company
achieves its vision. It is the objective and goals which are specified towards certain
actions and achievement of goals (Braojos, Benitez and Llorens, 2019).
Company's performance review : Competitive analysis
Infosys Ltd is multinational company which deals with software development,
independent validation, IT services and business consultancy. This company faces
competition from many other companies in India and also in other countries. In the
consultancy business its toughest competitor is Tata consultancy services. For making
the competitive analysis of the performance of Infosys SWOT analysis can be utilized.
This analysis is management proved framework which allows the company to
understand the performance against its competitors and industry. The industry of
Infosys is IT and technology sector. In this industry the target of this company are those
large size enterprises which have budget for planning IT. This company helps its target
business to transform itself and perform better (Dhameja and Agarwal, 2017). SWOT
analysis for Infosys is as follows.
Strengths :
Strengths of a business is said to be the area in which it feels confident for giving
best performance or factors on which it can rely on for its success. Infosys is the
pioneer of the global delivery model which gives it strength for competing in the market.
The cash reserve of this company is very high thus it do not have issues in its
operations. The corporate governance towards this company is favourable to its actions.
The brand name of this company is very high among other IT services brand. This
brand name of the company gives the company the strength of attracting employees
eventually improving their business (Dubey and Wadia, 2017).
