INTRODUCTION
To do the business in International hotel industry one must possess to list out the
strengths, weakness that the individual is having. This report contains the opportunities that I
possess in my journey at the same I also facing the threats in this journey. This report contains
the SWOT Analysis to understand the strength, weakness, opportunities and threats. This helps
me in taking the decisions and that boost my strength, shield against weakness, and try to abate
threats.
MAIN BODY
SWOT and PDP as a manager of the international hotel and academic as well as employability
skills.
SWOT Analysis
It is one of the strategic tools that enumerates the strengths, weakness, opportunities as well as
threats being the Manager of the company needs to conduct the SWOT analysis as it helps in the
identification of the areas where one need the development as this analysis helps in identifying
the strengths what the individual is having and analyse the weakness that helps to heal as it is in
the hands of ourself. Opportunity gives the possibilities that one can enhance in the particular
area that helps in enhance the growth of itself. In this below I have done the SWOT analysis that
I possess the skills as it is being required to work in the hotel industry.
Strength
I possess the organisational skills that how to behave in the industry as it is very
important for the manager of the hotel industry to become friendly with the employees as well as
with the guest. It is equally essential that the manager must understand in maintaining balance in
between the friendliness and over friendliness as it exploits the employees. I also possess the
time management skills that I can plan effectively to manage and organise the time in the weekly
sprint. Having the ability to track the daily activities by keeping the time log that includes the
task of each time even I understand the use of technology that is related to the hospitality
industry such as staff training, schedule to reserve the applications. I am having the skills that I
can motivate to other staff member to work effectively and efficiently towards their goal. Many

in the industry many times the disputes is being arises and having the skills to resolve the issues
and also have the ability to assign the responsibilities accordingly.
Weakness
This is the internal attitude or the attribute that are the obstacles of the successful outcomes as
every individual is having the weakness but it is important to know our weakness and try to
overcome from that. Even these are the characteristic that may harm to the other staff of the
organisation so it is very important to heal. Weakness that I evaluate in myself are :
Trouble in saying no
I am having the difficulty in saying no to the people for the result I may be pulled in
those projects and the tasks that may pulled myself in the overextended. Even I realised these
things that it will create the blunders for myself for this I am trying to change myself.
Honesty
in the professional life being too honest is the sign of having the impaired social
intelligence. It is the major factor that makes the wheels of having the social discourse and
having the spin of social interaction to be effortlessly. Being too honest one of the weakness I am
having and due to this many times in my personal life also I go in the trouble.
Try to be much of perfectionist
It is the reason that make the perfectionism as a weakness it is one of the attribute that
leads to procrastination. As the perfectionist might refrain in doing the certain things even due to
the fear.
Opportunity
Improve my communication skills
I need to learn the different languages as they are required in the daily operation s in
international hotels as guests can come from anywhere, so I need to learn many other languages
that gives me the better opportunities to work in different countries.
Improve speaking in public

I possess the skills of independent learning and having the ability to work well as an
individual and manage my time in the effective way and pursue the goals that I have been
defined for myself. As I think that good time management and the skills of planning is being

I always try to keep and maintain the trust in between the staff so that they can also work
with the reliability. In every organisation manager plays an important role in the eyes of his

the transactions are taking place with many currency so need to learn these skills.
