The author intends to highlight the retail economy of Reitman, which is a retail
company in Canada. Major corporations and the foreign capitals are controlling this retail
landscape recently. Reitmans Limited generally associates in the retail of women’s wearing
clothing in Canada. It consist products like skirts, pants, shirts, dresses, sweaters, lingerie and
other accessories. This clothing organization is based on growth, integrity and respect. The
passionate individuals working in the organization exhibit the values of Reitman and the
charities supported. This helps them in maintaining proper business relationships
geographically. In this regard, the author was commissioned to analyze the corporate
restructuring and the engaged locational imprints within the Canadian retail sector. The
author has addressed the reorganization of the retail capital emerging from the continued
process of globalization and growth in other retail outlets. The author thereafter focuses on
the three aspects including the market concentration, emerging location strategies and
economic profiles. The perspective of the author can be applied by stating that the dominance
of the major corporation retails chains have been highlighted and it is therefore engaged with
the degree of market concentration by the sectors. Thus, it can be stated that the author has
produced evidence of the strategies of the growth employed by a number of leading retailers
in Canada. It can therefore be concluded by stating that if a number of key areas for future
research are recognized then it will be easier. Hence, there is an impact of corporate
concentration on the retail economy of Reitman.

In this scenario, the author states that the Clothing retailer Reitmans Ltd. is
observed to be a tough economy is basically leaving the customers with less
disposable income for clothes that are formed according to the weather conditions. It
therefore makes an impact on the sales and profitability in the retail sources of
Canada. They made clothes based on the retail climate. The sales revenue for the
quarter had ended in the month of July was down for a percent of 2.3 to $279.5
million as compared to an amount of $286 million per year. The clothing store of
Reitman stated that it has a high fuel and there have been an increase in the levels of
the customers personal debts. This refers to a scenario where less amount of money
will be required for clothes as it will hurt the bottom line. There are quarterly same
amount of sales as it acts as a key metric in the world of retail sales as it fell with 1.7
per cent. It has been observed that Reitmans have their stores in Canada. When there
was the second quarter, it can be summarized b y stating that the company had opened
11 new stores in Canada and closed 18. There was a huge change in the data of sales
of this department. Thereafter, all the retailers had believed in these scenarios and
fixed the situation. However, there were disruptions in the process of delivery, which
included the shipping and receiving process.
