INTRODUCTION
The marketing field is a business of trading and promoting of products or services which
involves market research as well as advertising. This field has a number of employment
opportunities and technological evolution has resulted into rising of new trends in this
occupation such as digital marketing (Gilson and Agyepong, 2018). The job opportunities that is
provided in this assignment is Marketing manager. The skills required to secure this job position
are communication skills, planning skills, leadership skill, technological skills, team building
skills and market research skills. This report focuses on personal analyses and career action plan
which includes skills required for future personal as well as career development. Furthermore,
CV is set up to apply for the post of Marketing manager and Linkedin profile is also prepared to
keep an eye on several job opportunities online.

Personal Analysis
It is a method to investigate an individual personality without the assistance of any other
person. It helps an individual to identify his or her strengths and weaknesses that could impact
the growth of career. Personal analysis plays an important role in any job profession through
making a person eligible for the required position (Reimers and Chung, 2019). In my
professional career I want to become a marketing manager as that person is responsible for
determining potential customer base and also assist in attracting those consumers towards
company. Marketing manger is also accountable for organising the positioning and promotion of
products or services of any brand that a particular organisation sells. As I have my educational
background from this field it becomes easy for me to understand strategies and working style of
this profession. I also have some knowledge about market trends which are the key element of
marketing field, this will become beneficial for me in my future career growth as a marketing
manager. I also have some experience in marketing field as a sales person which I did in my
internship days. This experience will help me in enhancing competitive advantage as well as
increase my chances of securing a position of marketing manager in some reputed firm.
In regard of this, I also conducted my own personal analysis to identify my own
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats which is useful for me regarding my personal
development of concerning skills and knowledge.
