Work related goals
Goals -
I want to work in retail sector in marketing field and for getting employment opportunity, I have
set some goals that I want to achieve such as:
 To improve public speaking and presentation skill.
 To become better time manager.
 To improve relations for growing social media presence.
Reflection on personal strengths and weaknesses -
Strengths -
I want to accomplish all these above discussed goals in a timely manner so that I can get
marketing related job opportunity. For this purpose, I want to identify strengths and weaknesses
that I possess as on this basis, I can prepare an action plan (Tawanwongsri and Phenwan, 2019).
With the help of Gibbs reflective model, I can self-evaluate and can share my feelings such as:
Description: I want to share my experience of university where I was given some projects
to complete within 1 week. Along with this, I found that I am good in relation making and
communication skill. With the ability of communicating, I found easier in improving relations
and it helped me out in completing my tasks with refreshed mood.
Feelings: In regard to my experience, I can say that time management skill plays a vital
role as it makes us feel refreshed and boost our confidence. When we do not complete given task
in a timely manner then it makes us frustrated and depressed. Performing marketing role is not
an easy task as I will need to focus on improving this skill so that I can help my company out in
accomplishing goals.
Evaluation: While studying in university, we were asked to self-analysis and on the basis
of self-analysis, I found that I am good in communication and research and development skill. In
regard to these skills, I can say that communication skill is vital for becoming successful in any
profession as it improves our relations with others. Research and development skill also enables
marketers in collecting relevant information on which basis they can accomplish their goals. I
also identified that my writing skills and positive behaviour skills are my main strength. With
positive attitude and behaviour, I can improve relations with others. It can boost my confidence
and can encourage me for learning new things in an effective manner.
