career enhancement in a professional field.
 This presentation reflects on various aspects of choosing a career field and how to ensure
professional development in the relevant area.
 The presentation discuss a career path in a field of profession and analyse strengths and
weaknesses as per that job role.
 The chosen career field for this presentation is human resource management which is
associated with the role of recruiting staff in order to maintain requirement of personnel in an
organisation.

 Human resource management refers to the
role of maintaining personnel in an
organisation and is associated with their
hiring as well as ensuring their retention
and development.
 The role of human resource management
is very significant in an organisation as
personnel are most crucial assets of
companies which determines their growth
and success in a market full of potential
rivals.

Discussing and analysing my career paths in the
field of HRM
 HR Assistant: This role is usually an entry level
position which is basically associated with the
responsibilities and functions of completing
several HR processes.
 HR Coordinator: This role is mainly related to
the process of recruitment and processing
payrolls as well as for administrative functions.
 HR Specialist: Applying for this position means
specifying in one particular tasks related to
human resources.

Strengths
 Good communication skills: I have strong
communication skills which means I can state
clearly what I am seeking as well as can
express my thoughts in a constructive manner.
 Problem solving skills: I have great skill in
providing effective solutions to personnel for
solving their grievances and other issues.
 Administrative skills: I am good at controlling
and administrating things as and these skills
comes handy in the job role of HR manager.

Weaknesses
 Lack of negotiation skills: Negotiation skills are important in the process of recruitment as
HR coordinator and executive has to negotiate on salary as well as on other terms and
conditions.
 Lack of organisation skills: Organisation skills are required in the job role of HR assistants as
they have to keep records of paperwork and documents of candidates.
