INTRODUCTIONCareer research can be said to be a process wherein an individual carries out an in-depthanalysis of all the available options with a view to choose a particular area of interest. This helpsin ascertainment of the field whereby the person can gain entry to carry out professionaldevelopment and get elevated in the opted career. The previous assignment helped inacknowledgement of the desirable career area for the individual, i.e., store manager within retailsector. This field is appropriate for me as this is one of the growing sectors across the globe andthe position of Store Manager is key to the success of a retail firm. The skills that I haveacknowledged to be essential for me are communication, team leadership, continuousimprovement, conflict management and time management. Further, the knowledge areas andexperience which I should possess is Marketing. This report will going to conduct my personalanalysis, Career action plan and Curriculum vitae. PERSONAL ANALYSISRetail sector is acknowledged to be one of the fastest growing sectors within the confinesof United Kingdom. This sector is influenced by a large number of advancements that constantlytake place under its confine. The rapid and consistent development and evolvement of thisindustry has led to the generation of large number of employment opportunities within thissector. Such opportunities foster an individual to pursue a career in this field and thereby getelevated in the professional life to carry out continuous development. In this regard, becoming ashop manager is regarded to be a lucrative opportunity for me as this will allow me to make useof skills and knowledge to undergo development of my professional personality. Being a shopmanager, I would hold the responsibility to carry out all the essential activities pertaining to thestore of respective retail firm and ensuring the resolution of all the challenges being faced byclients. For this, I will require the below explained skills and knowledge to get elevated into thechosen area of interest:-Skills requiredCommunication: This is regarded to be one of the most essential skills that must bepresent within me so as to deal with customers in an effective manner.
