1. INTRODUCTION
Individual need to learn various skills, knowledge and capabilities at several stages of life
for effective achievement of preset set professional goals. Career action plan helps person to
formulate strategies to develop several skills or enhance existing knowledge and capabilities that
are useful in both personal and professional career. The report discussed about career action plan
and self reflection for analysis various strength and key weakness that need to be removed for
achievement of specific goals. It has evaluated and analysed several skills such as
communication, creativity and strategic thinking that are crucial for position as marketing and
brand management in reputable company. The report has furthered prepared personal
development plan which helps in removing keys weakness or ineffective skills of individual so
that overall professional objectives can be attainted. At last of the report CV and Linked ID is
attached as appendix which may be necessary in future career.
2. PERSONAL ANALYSIS
I have planned to make my career in marketing and brand manager in reputable organisation
as I have certain capabilities and ability that helps me to perform various task of marketing
manager effectively. It is tough to be a marketing manager as individual need to bear no said by
large number of people, or different challenges thus have to stay positive and think creative idea
that can be useful in attracting various individual to make purchase for satisfaction of their
respective needs. Thus, I have decided to analysis or identify key area or skills in which I excel
and other areas that need to be further improved so that I can get my choice of job in future
career. Personal analyses have contributed in my career development as I am able to learn new
skills that are useful in both professional and personal career (Guichard, 2018). Therefore,
SWOT analysis is best model for personal analysis as it consists of four elements like strength,
weakness, threat and opportunity that I can use to plan future strategies. Personal analysis of me
through SWOT Model is as follows:
Strength: It can be stated that I have ability and skills to think strategically and analytically on
various points as before coming to conclusion I deeply analysis problem and found effective
solution that can helps in getting better outcome. As per my point of view strategic and analytical
skills helps marketing manager to critical think and find innovative idea which can be useful to
motivate and influence diverse individual to select specific products for their satisfaction of need.

This strength of myself will help me to understand prevailing market situation, existing needs of
customers and coming on accurate decision which contribute towards development of strong
brand image. Another skills in which I excel is creative and innovative which helps me to make
project unique and differentiate so that requirements of various people satisfied beyond their
expectancy (Young, 2019). I always plan innovative and new method to do particular task so that
best outcome can be gathered within minimum cost. Therefore, it can be stated that various skills
have enhanced my level of confidence and motivation to become marketing and brand manager
in professional career.
Weaknesses: They are certain areas in which I lack knowledge, skills and capabilities that can
act as hinder in my future career so I have to plan effective method which can be useful in
development of skills and achievement of goals. As per my observation I am unable to use new
technologies and software that is mostly required by every employer while it take decision to
recruit person in organisation. I have limited knowledge about recent technology and software so
I need to remove my weaknesses so that company products can be easily marketed through
digital medium. I am not comfortable in public speaking or profession communication which is
most essential in marketing career therefore I need to plan strategies to over my weaknesses.
Ineffective time management has lead to delay in performance of task thus hinder in getting
effective result or outcome.
Opportunities: There are various opportunities for me in future such as by development of
several skills and capabilities I can able to get position as marketing manager in reputable and
high brand. New technology knowledge can helps me to easily performed different task such as
effective analysis of data and information that are crucial for framing various effective strategies
so that firm can gain competitive advantages (Cisternas, 2018). It also provide me opportunity to
start my own business for earning more income and reputable status in society as experienced
and knowledge contributed in overall development of individual.
Threats: Due to tremendously increasing in competition level, unemployment therefore
company have become more selective so that they can get best candidate for particular position
in organisation. So, it can be stated that most important threat is increasing competition and
innovation in technology that can adversely impact on my future career therefore I need to have
all skills and knowledge of marketing manager to select from pool of candidates.
