INTRODUCTION
Career Viewpoint refers to a particular perspective which a person has regarding his/her
career (Burga, Leblanc and Rezania, 2020). Therefore it is quite important that the career
viewpoint is developed in a proper manner which will be highly helpful in ensuring that the right
actions are taken accordingly. In this report, a detailed discussion will be made on Personal
Analysis. Additionally, Development of a Career Action Plan will also be done as a part of this
assignment.
MAIN BODY
Personal analysis
Scenario- I am a working professional working in the Private Sector since a long period
of time. I want to get a job in the HR field in Travel & Tourism Industry as it is my dream job
because I want to learn about managing people which is a main role which is performed by a
HR. Therefore, for this purpose I have to carry out a Personal analysis and prepare a Career
Action Plan for the future which will be quite helpful for me in the future.
As a working professional who has worked in different organizations I have gained a lot
of skills and developed a lot of competencies (Guo, Wang and Wang, 2021). Therefore, it is
quite important that the people are able to ensure that they make use of these skills and
competencies to develop themselves for the future in the right way effectively and efficiently.
The skills which I have gained are as follows-
Communication skills- It is very important for the HR in the organizations to make sure
that they have the right-level of communication skills (Johnson, 2020). Therefore, as I want to
become and HR in the Travel & Tourism Industry these skills are essential. I have these skills as
the organizations in which I have worked required me to make the use of these skills which has
allowed me to develop them in a proper manner.
IT skills- These are the skills which are essential for HR because he/she is required to
work a lot on the computer. Thus, as I want to become an HR in the Travel & Tourism Industry I
have to make sure that I make the use of these skills which will be quite helpful for me to be able
to help in the attainment of the organizational goals and objectives. I have these skills because
the organizations for which I worked required me to make the use of these skills and thus I have
developed them.
Organization skills- These are the skills which are essential for becoming a HR because
this will be helpful in ensuring that the management of the organization is done in a right way.
As I want to become an HR in the Travel & Tourism Industry I will be required to make sure that
