INTRODUCTION
The Marketing professional are the person that work closely with the top management of the
company in order to attract the customers towards the business. This report will be based on my
personal learning experience and my interest in the Marketing professional in order to became
the Digital Marketing expert. This report will state my primary and secondary research about the
marketing profession trend and skills. The report will also cover the literature review source for
collecting the secondary data.
MAIN BODY
Future Trends in Marketing Profession
Primary Research
In order to collect the data from the primary source, I have attended the various event
organized by the professional bodies and career teams. And for this I have attended The Charted
Institute of Marketing (CIM) events which is one of the world’s largest professional body. By
attending that event I get to know the demand of marketing especially the digital marketing role
in the business world. I have identified that because of the pandemic, many and utmost all
business is shifting online to offer and promote their products and services. After attending this
event, I get to know from one of my family members that is also a digital marketer that because
of covid-19 around 81% of the total companies are trying to spend their income on marketing
which is around only 45% before pandemic (Kao and et.al., 2017). This will not only increase
the companies brand image but also the demand of digital marketing experts in the upcoming
year.
I have analysed that the digital advertising market is the fastest growing market in the
year 2020 to 2022 all over the world. In order to understand the expectations and tastes of the
customers, the businesses mainly depend upon their digital marketing experts which help them in
generating revenue by using social media platforms (Chigwedere and et.al., 2019). I also able to
know that how creative and analytical mind people just like me make a perfect career in the
marketing field. But for this I also need to keep myself up-to-date regarding trends and demands
of the customers because they not only buy companies products but also buy the experiences and
emotions. This event also helps me in identifying that the mobile is going to became the centre of
