Public; As per the actions and efforts of the president, they will definitely increase the number of
foreign tourist. Now this is making a business opportunity for public, most of the peoples wants to
be a businessman and make profits by their business activity(Butler and Hinch, 2007). Person who
wants to set up their business can use this opportunity to set up their own business which can be
related to the restaurant, hotels and transportation.
So government and public is having direct positive impact by developing tourism, but it is most
important to provide facilities for their tourist.
1.2 Advantages and disadvantage of partnership in travel industry
Philippines is having a large scope to increase tourism but their government is not having
proper resources to develop this as they want, so they are having a option to make their work as
they want. The government can make partnership with the private sector which can increase the
scope of work and speed to complete their work in decided time limit. Private sector is having more
resources and financial support which is much needed for tourism development(Girard and
Nijkamp, 2009). It is having some advantage and disadvantage for tourism, here is it;
Advantages of public and private partnership;
ï‚· Public and private sector partnerships are always supportive to achieve the task in the pre
decided time periods.
ï‚· Private sector is having a strength to make better development as per the requirements of
government planning. They are having resources like; advance techniques and machinery to
develop sustainable tourism in the Philippines.
ï‚· It is effective for market development because private sector is having potential to make a
new market which will be situated near to these new emerging destination.
ï‚· Partnership is increasing opportunities for unemployed candidates in Philippines, most of
the peoples are unemployed and living in rural areas, this partnership is increasing a chance
of employment for them. Private companies needs manpower for produce their activities and
achieve their targets as per the development plan of the government.
Disadvantage of partnership;
ï‚· Private industry is having man and money power so they are having more control on tourism
development which is not appropriate to retain public sector's profits in this development.
ï‚· Quality management is get affected, private companies is more concerned about their cost
and profits so they can make fraud with the government if they are having extra cost as per
they decided in they contract, they can use lower quality material in basic infrastructure
development of tourism destination.

2.3 Different methods to measure tourist impact
Philippines known as a tourism destination, most of the foreign tourist visit this nation to get
relax from their routine work pressure(Buckley, 2012). The nation is having a mix environment, it
haves development as well as the natural environment, these both factors are having power to attract
tourist. As their President wants to develop some tourism destination, it is increasing the market and
as well as the number of foreign tourist. It is increasing their economical growth, as they are having
limited resources for their public. Financial stability is a need of their peoples which are living in
the rural areas so their President is making their efforts to develop some more new tourist
destinations in rural areas. This is an appreciable effort by him because it makes a direct impact on
those peoples which is having their shops and business in the local rural markets. Foreign tourist is
having money power and they spend it in the local markets. It increase money circulation and as
well as it spreading a financial stability for small scale business entities. The tourism impact can be
measured by these methods;
Change in income of peoples; This is easy to know about changes in the income of peoples,
the government can make survey to know about the changes in the income before the development
and after the development(Ruhanen, 2013). Increasing number of tourist is increasing income of
those peoples and businessman which are connected with tourism industry directly and indirectly.

4.1 Methods resolving of conflict of future well being
In a country, specially a developing country confit of interests can be very harmful for it's
development(Matarrita-Cascante, Brennan and Luloff, 2010). These conflicts can be of any nature
be it political, economical, financial, social etc. but the impact of these on any country is damaging.
The economy and living conditions of the residents deplete due to regular conflicts happening in the
society and creates unambiguity in them.
CONFLICT OF INTERESTS IN PHILIPPINES;
In a developing country like Philippine conflict of interests slows the growth rate of the country.
The matters going on such as mining conflict where one side mining is important for the industrial
sector on the other, the process of mining is highly depleting it's natural resources. One of the
conflicts prevailing since the beginning is Moro insurgency; religious conflict between the
communities hampering the social peace. As for tourist, the far- southern region is still a no go zone
due to the terrorist cells and activities. These conflicts add to the obstructions in the development of
tourism.
METHODS TO RESOLVE THE CONFLICT OF INTERESTS:
Avoidance: In this method to resolve conflict, both the parties or either of the parties act by
avoiding the topic or the problem in hand.
Competitive style: In the competition style one of the member tends to dominate the other by
creating winning and losing situation. This method can be harmful for the weaker member as it has
more chances of losing(McDonald, 2009).
Cooperation style: This the best method which can be used to resolve a conflict as both the parties
cooperate and try to find a common path of a 'win-win' situation.
Compromise: While compromising, one of the member accepts certain terms of the other and meet
them halfway for the solution.
These are a few methods to resolve conflict of interest but for Philippines cooperative and

4.2 Implication of balancing in supply and demand
In order to attain profitable situation in development of tourism entity needs to manage
balance between supply and demand it is having more significance because tourist are spending
their money and time take a relax time with their families and friends(Palacios, 2010). So if the
tourism destination is not having proper facilities it is making negative impact in the tourist. As the
President of Philippines wants to increase number of tourist in their nation. So they have to make
proper facilities for their foreign tourist because it is making a image of their nation so they have to
manage it any how. As they are increasing tourist, it increase a pressure on the tourism destinations
and their managers. Most of the tourist wants proper facilities for accommodation, foods and
transportation which have to be given by the government, they can take a fair charges for it. For
create good image in the nation and better future of tourism they to manage balancing between
demands and supply. If government of Philippines is failed for make proper tourist environment and
facilities for their guests, it makes negative image in them. These tourist can make a negative
communication in their country, it reduce the image of Philippine tourism industry(Hunter and
Shaw, 2007). So they have to make proper balance in their supply and demands in the tourism
destination's facilities.
4.3 Morale and ethical issue of enclave tourism
Enclave tourism is focused facilities in a particular geographical areas, this is the latest trend
of tourism. Government have to give all the facilities on each particular tourist destinations. These
facilities can be related to accommodation, food, transportation, medical and drinking water, these
all are basic need of a tourist which have to be given by the Philippines government and partnership
firms. Accommodation, food and drinking water can be consider as a basic needs and it have to be
done by properly by the management teams of that particular tourist destination. They have to use
morality in it and they have to give them a quality in such facilities. Transportation is having a
significant role in the tourism because tourist have to go different tourism sites in a day, so
government have to give proper transportation system in that particular destination and they have to
charge fair price on it(Cole, 2006). These all facilities have to provided on fair price because it is
related to the dignity of the nation. So morality and ethics are having a huge role in enclave tourism.

5.1 Comparison in current issues
Each country is having their own status which can be developed, developing and
undeveloped. Developed countries are the most powerful in the world and they have a proper
development in all sectors but the developing countries are making efforts to be in the list of
developed countries(McIntosh and Zahra, 2007). So these countries are having a lot sector which is
having a need of development but they are having a problem of limited resources. Nepal is a
developing country which is having a lot of work to be in the developed country. They have to
develop infrastructure according to the foreign countries. Philippines is also in this series which is
having same problems but they increase foreign investments which is helpful in infrastructure
development.
Here is a comparison in the current issue in developing country like Nepal and emerging tourist
destination in Philippines;
Issues Nepal Philippines
Social It is a country which is focued on
their targets. They are having lot of
issues related to social elements like;
unemployement which is
demotivating their new generation
and making them motiveless which
is making a burdan on the nation.
Philippines is also facing the same
problem but it can be resolved by
new emerging tourist destinations. It
is increasing business opportunities
for unemployed peoples and these
peoples can make their efforts to
make more better environment and
facilities for their tourists.
Economical Nepal is not having economical
stabilty but it have a potential in
tourism because they are having
national parks, mountains and
religious temples which can be used
in tourism development which will
be helpful for economic growth.
The President of the nation is used
their tourism industry to increase
their economoy and they are having
focus on foreign exchange.
5.2 Recommendation for future development in the Philippines
Development should never be minimized as a country can grow only when it keeps on
developing. Both Philippines and Nepal are attractive countries but they are lacking a bit on part of
development(Raymond and Hall, 2008). Nepal is making huge steps for its development. With the
support and coordination with other countries Nepal has emerged as a new tourism destination.

Here is a comparison in the current issue in developing country like Nepal and emerging tourist
destination in Philippines;
Issues Nepal Philippines
Social It is a country which is focued on
their targets. They are having lot of
issues related to social elements like;
unemployement which is
demotivating their new generation
and making them motiveless which
is making a burdan on the nation.
Philippines is also facing the same
problem but it can be resolved by
new emerging tourist destinations. It
is increasing business opportunities
for unemployed peoples and these
peoples can make their efforts to
make more better environment and
facilities for their tourists.
Economical Nepal is not having economical
stabilty but it have a potential in
tourism because they are having
national parks, mountains and
religious temples which can be used
in tourism development which will
be helpful for economic growth.
The President of the nation is used
their tourism industry to increase
their economoy and they are having
focus on foreign exchange.
5.2 Recommendation for future development in the Philippines
Development should never be minimized as a country can grow only when it keeps on
developing. Both Philippines and Nepal are attractive countries but they are lacking a bit on part of
development(Raymond and Hall, 2008). Nepal is making huge steps for its development. With the

Personally I feel that Nepal is a place where a person should visit at least once in his or her life. In
my opinion Rara National Park is one of the most emerging destination in Nepal. It has the
potential and that uniqueness which allows it to become the next tourist destination. On the other
hand Philippines is lacking a bit in development but it cant be said that it doesn't have that much
potential to attract its visitors(Sims, 2009). Being a coastal country Philippines has an opportunity
to attract its visitors. Personally I believe that people loves to travel around the coastal areas.
Philippines and its Asian cuisine is also famous. The industry which deals in food and beverages in
Philippines plays an important role in tourism development.
COCLUSION
The above concluded report is focus on tourism in Philippines, their president wants to increase
tourism industry. As this country is having a lot sectors to increase tourism, their President is using
these all factors to make enclave in tourism. They are having focus on the facilities which is a much
needed part for upcoming tourists. As they are not having proper resources to develop tourism
scope. They are making partnership with the private companies. Private companies can make better
implementation of planning.
