IntroductionThe scope of the current case study concerns an ethical dilemma in regards to Jobs for You an Employment Agency. The functionality of the Agency concerned recruiting and placing employees across various jobs. Currently the Company faces acquisition that the employees had been abruptly terminated. In order to present before the court record for instances and reasons for such terminations, the Company planned to incorporate a code for employees. The HR department is to assign such codes as record for each employee, such that employee cannot file allegation against them in court of law. This analysis incorporates codes of ethics and professional conduct according to ACS Code of Ethics.AnalysisRecruitment Manager, Stella, who is to devise a set of codes of ethics will be bound to face the following ethical dilemmas according to ACS Code of Ethics; 3 values from the ACS Code of Ethics 1.The Primacy of the Public Interest: Stella while forming codes of conduct for employees will be placing private interests over interests of employees[ CITATION Ano14 \l 1033 ]. This is against primacy of public interests as it has immense potential to impact potential conflicts amongst stakeholders. 2.The Enhancement of Quality of Life: With the development of this framework, codes quality of life of employees can be impacted to a huge extent. This will be against this value provided by ACS for the purpose of promoting and enhancing quality of life[ CITATION Whi131 \l 1033 ].3.Honesty: In case HR department of the Company devises such codes then it might breach publictrust in professionalism of the firm. As honesty and integrity are the key to professional decision, then such decision might impact quality of employees that they appoint for companies[ CITATION Aus131 \l 1033 ].Apart from ACS code of ethics there will be immense impact as diagnosed from clauses of ACS Professional Conduct.5 clauses from theACS Code of Professional Conducta)The Company need to adopt calm and composed, knowledgeable professional work that can complement engagement. Employees need to feel attached to the Company, while being engaged in it, is the foremost requirement of a professional[ CITATION BRR13 \l 1033 ].b)This code of professional conduct provides to take action against those who are against implementation of this code. Hence, Stella could easily get involved as she will be designing codes for employees[ CITATION CTI11 \l 1033 ]. According to this clause any member, who areagainst engaging behaviour might be taken appropriate action against.c)For appropriate professional conduct, there needs to diversity in the workplace, for ensuring opportunities for employment, remuneration, advancement and other working conditions.
