INTRODUCTION
Risk assessment refers to a detailed procedure which is undertaken within the various
types of organizations which helps in ensuring that the identification of the potential hazardous
risks in the organization can be done in the right manner quite effectively and efficiently (Abdel-
Basset and et.al., 2019). This helps in ensuring that the attainment of the various types of safety
guidelines can be done in the right manner. This report will focus on Genera. It is a company
which produces sales and marketing of veterinary medicines, feed additives and different types
of care products for the animals. In this assignment, a detailed focus will be made on carrying
out risk assessment and assessment of efficacy of a risk management plan. Additionally, specific
analysis on analysis of robustness of the system in ensuring safety in a business enterprise
environment will be discussed specifically as a part of this particular project.
MAIN BODY
Identification of hazards and the people who are at risk from hazards
There are various types of hazards which are present within Genera. The identification of
these hazards is essential so that the appropriate measures can be taken in order to prevent these
hazards. The various types of hazards which are present with Genera are as follows-
 Ethidium bromide is a compound which is often used in Genera for the manufacturing
activities. Exposure to it can cause irritation of the exposed services which can be upper
respiratory tract, skin, eyes or mouth. Thus the people in Genera who are tasked with the
carrying out of various types of manufacturing activities are at a higher-level of risk from
this hazard.
 Apart from it, there are several chemicals which are used in the company for the purpose
of manufacturing of the different types of products effectively and efficiently. Thus, in
Genera these chemicals create a high-level of risk particularly for those people who face
constant exposure to them.
Thus in this way these are the hazards which are present in Genera and the people who are
working in the company can have exposure to them due to the needs and requirements of their
work (Chakraborty and Ghosh, 2020). This can lead towards health-related problems and issues
for them and thus it is required for the company that it can protect its workers from the facing of
