This study define differentiate between various typesof networking technologies and clarify importance of internet and intranet in chosen business.Furthermore, clarifies different stages of system development life cycle. Many largeorganization in UK retail sector now have its own It department. For example, TESCO haveinformation technology management as they manage computer programs and other technicalfields within business. IT used for computer and computers networks, it specially includes alllayers of all program within the company from physical hardware to operating system, storage,databases, applications and servers. Telecommunication techniques including business phonesand internet is also part of firm's IT infrastructure.
