Challenges in Educating Indian Migrants in Green Construction

The assignment discusses the challenges faced by project managers in educating Indian migrants for green construction projects. It highlights the importance of understanding these challenges to ensure a successful and productive stakeholder relationship. INTRODUCTION
Green Construction is a challenging task and its
amplify when the migrants are involved. It is because
they need to be educated with the construction method
of the country and hence, the deemed research work
will evaluate the challenges that are associated with
educating Indian migrants in green construction.

RESEARCH AIM
The aim of the paper is to investigate the
challenges that are associated with educating the
Indian migrants in the green construction industry.

RESEARCH QUESTIONS
▪ What are the challenges associated with educating the Indian migrants in
green building constructions?
▪ What is the potential solution to those challenges?
▪ Does the management have to invest extra effort in educating the Indian
or Asian migrants than the local labour?
▪ Does the mass use of the Indian migrants in green buildings construction
show that they are more capable than the local labour?

METHODOLOGY
The paper will follow primary quantitative data collection method
to collect data. The questions for the questionnaire to be distributed
will be devised with assistance from the past literary work.

 Research approach is deductive.
 The design of the paper is meta-analysis.
 Sampling of the collected data was done through likelihood
sampling method.

Secondary data was collected for the research.
The data collection mode was selected because
• It is time & cost efficient.
• Can be readily collected.

DATA ANALYSIS
 The data collected from secondary source.
 Summarised to identify the factors & challenges.
 The evaluation was also done to analyse the effort invested by Project management team in
educating subjects.
 A comparison of the subject & local labours was also done.
 A mitigating strategy was proposed.
 All the above discussed objectives were achieved through thematic analysis & critical
thinking.

LIMITATION
 Limited resources could be accessed because of lack of money.

CONCLUSION
Indian migrants does offer challenges in
educating them in green construction, however, if
educated properly they can prove to be a vital asset
for the project. Hence, the proposed 6E strategy can
help in mitigating those challenges and offer a more
productive stakeholder as Indian migrants.

FUTURE SCOPE & DIRECTION
 Direction to pursue the subject using primary data
collection method that assist in increasing reliability over
the findings & further enhance trust.
 Scope for evaluating challenges in educating workers in
construction industry.
