INTRODUCTIONOperations management is considered as a process of managing and handling of allprocedures and operations of a business (Doppelt, 2017). In this, the process of conversion fromraw sources into productive ones is being done.. The report will cover processes, aspects andchallenges of operation management that are being performed in Oxfam. The transformation andprocessing for defining modified and more sustainable goals that have been done in order tocreate an increased rate of opportunities for their operations. The report also covers differentdigital challenges, capacity and supply chain management of Oxfam. It will help in reflectingchanges and development in digital economy affecting the operations in Oxfam.OPERATIONS IN PRACTICEThere have been enormous numbers of factors and operations that are being performedby Oxfam in order to achieve efficiency in their procedure of traditional operation management.Analysing the factors as below:Traditional operations managementOxfam deals with an efficient management of all operations and procedures. Whether it isin terms of resources required or about providing services to the customers; they have beensuccessful enough but there are some modifications, which they have adopted in order to have abetter and efficient process of operation management. An agenda to develop and implement amoment, has been started in order to make sure that the local humanist leaders must reside withthe power of keeping and shifting of resources (Coyle, Langley and Gibson, 2016). On the basis of humanitarian principles, Oxfam included a wide range of services topeople. An overall of 20 charitable organisations have been a part of the business operations ofOxfam. Although, there are various factors affected by criticism, but continuous efforts of anorganisation helped them in recovering from these issues. These principles were importantenough for a successful eradication of poverty.Production and Capacity PlanningCapacity planning is considered as a way that can help Oxfam to evaluate their productabilities.
