INTRODUCTION
This report highlights the different aspects of self evaluation along with the assessment of Asha's
Solihull Restaurant which is the famous restaurant and provides a twist in the traditional Indian
dishes which are furnished with contemporary instincts. Due to which their menu is very creative
and innovative along with full of authenticity. They give a blend of tastes of Indian as well as
Australian dishes which are being prepared by the highly trained chefs.
It also shows the study of roles of various department in the restaurant such as Human
resource, Managers, etc. along with their skills and strategies adopted for achieving the
objectives. The conclusion of the same by proper monitoring and appraising the performance and
also the outcomes, whether achieved or not by reviewing process and the main reasons for failure
of the same along with the steps to overcome the failure.
Background of placement is also mentioned which states about the organization and its
structure which include the number of employees, turnover rates, etc. And also, the competitors
of Asha's Solihull Restaurant and framework of policies designed for competing and finding
more opportunities to expand the market globally. The vocational competencies are also
mentioned which gives the idea about the development in practical field, gaining skills and
expertise in each department of the restaurant, standards set for better service providing,
knowledge of expenses of each department, etc. Placement review is also described which
includes achievement at personal level, overview of the structure, etc. of Asha's Solihull
Restaurant .

Placement Background
Brief
Asha's Solihull Restaurant established in 1977 in streets of Northen Pole Road, Near
Ballon Bus Station, New Delhi serving Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai cuisines to it's customers.
Ever since it's establishment the food chain gained attention by historic infrastructure types and
it's retro theme based aura as well provides accommodation to it's customers (Godward, Dale and
Smith, 2019).
Clientele
The restaurant focuses on attracting middle class segment customers willing to spend
reasonable price of food and accommodation and basically are on vacation to enjoy the place for
a few days of weak.
Structure of Organization
Asha's Solihull Restaurant company adopt Matrix Organizational structure. Matrix
organizational structure refers to the structure in which employees are grouping according to
their skills which must be similar in nature. Along with this nature, here the relationship between
employees and manager are in the form of matrix rather than hierarchical form (Annarelli and
Nonino, 2016). Asha's Solihull Restaurant managing it's business activities along with a group
of employees ranging in various department as a Chief Owner managing all the departments and
is responsible for investments along with admin and general manager responsible for employee
management and operation activity of Asha's Solihull Restaurant . The general manager further
monitor assistant leader and kitchen leader where assistant leader tackles server, host, dishwasher
and pantry also kitchen leader along with chef assistant and interns comes in supervision of
general manager generating turnover of year (Hol., 2016).
