CHANGE CONTROL
1. Introduction
A systematic and organized managerial approach that is responsible for any kind of
change in a project is termed as change control. It is a specific sequential approach that has to
be followed as soon as request for change is being submitted to the project manager and
ensuring that project will provide better outcomes (Milosevic & Martinelli, 2016). This report
will be outlining a brief discussion on change control for a rubber manufacturing
organization, known as Corwin Corporation. The major procedures that are required for
bringing any change in project and options for satisfying the change requests will be
recognized in the report with a detailed control form of change.
2. Discussion
2.1 Proper Identification of Procedures in Change Request
The major processes that are required for change request for the project of Peters
Company are provided below:
i) Documentation of Change Request: The change requests by Patrick Ray are
required to be documented in this process.
ii) Proper Assessment: An assessment is to be done to understand the risks and
advantages from the project work (Kerzner, 2017).
iii) Proper Planning: An effective planning is required to understand change requests
demanded by Patrick Ray.
iv) Design as well as Test: The changes or tests are needed to be designed and tested.
v) Effective Deployment: The change request is deployed to make necessary changes.
vi) Finalized Assessment: Finally, change request would be assessed in this particular
process (Fuller et al., 2017).
