Change management is essential for protecting project from scope creep and many
more issues that might take place within the project. Scope creep can be defined as the most
vulnerable threat that could be imposed on a certain project, this can be avoided with the use
of change management (Hayes 2018). The application of change management within a
certain project tends to eliminate any sort of confusion among the members involved in the
project. Change management aims in consuming some time in properly outlining the changes
that would be taken place within the project, this defines the entire scope of the project to the
members and hence prevents the scope creep (Doppelt 2017). The change management
defines in details the stages that would be undertaken for the purpose of change
implementation, and the individuals who would be considered responsible for the tasks that
are related to task. This is done with the help of outlining every stage within the process of
implementation of the changes (Cameron and Green 2015). Each and every action item is
made relevant to the change, this prevents any sort of confusion among the team members
related to the procedures that would be used for the changes that are to be brought about.
Besides preventing the scope creep, change management can also be used for the purpose of
analysing the impacts of numerous changes that would be undertaken within the organization
(Hayes 2018). Along with these, the change management would also help in reducing the
issues that are faced due to improper communication among the employees.
In the process of managing the changes in an effective manner, communication
among the team members of the project can be facilitated (Pugh 2016). This directly related
to the fact that change management tends to reduce the level of confusion in a specific
project. This is initiated because in case communication is unclear among the members,
everyone would lose track of the progress of project, and individuals would not be able to
cooperate with each other (Doppelt 2017). One of the most important challenges that can be
mitigated with the use of change management include lack of morale. The implementation of

change management helps in undertaking every activity in a structural manner along with
explaining the importance of the activity and what are the benefits that would be provided by
the activities to the project (Cameron and Green 2015). Such as it provides knowledge
regarding if the infrastructure of the project has to be changed, and what aspects of the
changes would be helpful for the project managers.

are provided with assistance by the implementation of change management. I agree with your
point which mentions in the post that change management helps in the process of plotting the
impacts of the changes on organization as well as teams. The main issue that you have
mentioned here include the fact that scope creep can result in bringing about issues within the
project. In this post you have also discussed regarding the steps that could be used for the
purpose of implementing the concept of change management within a certain project along
with involving the project members in it. You have described that the project members must
be provided with the right to suggest changes that could be undertaken and which could help
in obtaining better outcomes. Your post also reflects on the fact that project schedule is one
of the most important aspect of the project which describes the activities that would be
carried out by the team members along with the time that is allotted for every activity. Your
post further reflects on the fact that project team must be engaged in the process of change
management, it must be ensured that the team is happy with the changes along with the
stakeholders and they must also be kept informed regarding the whereabouts of the change
management. Your post had also mentioned that the common aim in the terms of changes is
improving the overall performance of the organisation as a whole in order to achieve the
