Change management Strategy
The changes that are needed to be made for the expansion of the current distribution
system and should be identified and shared with the employees working in the organization
for management of their active involvement in the change management project. The
expansion in the business would help the organization to increase its market share by 7.5%
and it should have an improvement on the distribution system for shortening the delivery time
and increasing the efficiency.
To assign one driver for each truck and use the surplus driver for driving new trucks.
To install automatic lift gate in the truck for ensuring loading and unloading of heavy
packages.
To assign a PDA to each of the driver for assisting them the pick-up and drop
location.
Installing a GPS device in each of the trucks for assisting the driver with pick up and
drop location.
Change Goals:
The goal of the change management is following:
To develop and maintain a cohesive and well-motivated workforce.
To develop an integrated approach to distribution management utilising technology
such as PDA devices and GPS.
To expand the business to include small and medium package deliveries to regional
NSW.
To expand business in the metropolitan area so that small to medium package
deliveries market share increases by 7.5%.

a. Changes due to performance gaps
Introduction of the professional development and training for achieving the
organizational goals and promotion of the understanding of the organizational goals.
b. Changes due to business opportunities
Expanding the current distribution system such that delivering of small to medium
packages market share increases to 7.5 %.
c. Changes due to threats
The increase in the competition and improvement of the customer relationship and
grabbing the opportunity for the expansion of the business.
d. Changes due to management decision
Development of a well-motivated and skilled workforce and expanding the business
for grabbing the opportunity to increase its market share in Sydney.
