INTRODUCTION
It is necessary to maintain effective client relationship in work place and in personal life.
This enable in building strong relation with people and it helps in career growth as well. Also, it
is important to behave in proper way with co workers.
The report will describe about an experience on how to manage client relationship. Besides
it will discuss how to deal with individual showing different behaviour.
1. Reflective journals over 7 days
EXPERIENCE- there occurred a situation of conflict with my co worker. The conflict
occurred due to misunderstanding of work in which I shouted on him (Carle, and Cummings,
2018). He also shouted on me and became violent. I was highly disappointed with such
behaviour of my co workers. So, I did his complaint to manager. I said that as I am his senior he
should not have talked with me in such a way. The misunderstanding occurred due to wrong e
mail which he sent to me. I told him that it is not way to send e mail as he is junior.
FEELINGS- in this situation I felt that I should not have talked in such a way with my co
worker. But instead I should have deal with it in effective way by remaining calm and compose.
I also felt that I must have analysed overall situation and then only found out whose mistake was
in it. Besides that, I think that I need to control my emotions and anger so that I can remain calm
in critical situation. This is because it will be highly beneficial for me in my career growth and
development. Besides that, I must improve my discipline skills so that I am able to interact with
co worker in proper way. Along with that, I think that I must not have done compliant to
manager but rather solve conflict on my own. This could have been easy for me and my co
worker. Moreover, with that I can have maintained strong relation with him.
LEARN- In conflict I found that my co worker and I was involved in it (Dodgson,. and Cohen,
2020). We both were working on some task and next day there occurred conflict between us. In
that I shouted on him. But the main thing which I found went right is that I did said sorry to him.
I also said in front of manager that it was my mistake due to which conflict occurred and also I
should not have shouted on him. Thus, it resulted in maintaining relation with him and working
together as well. In this I found that the conflict could have been solved by me. I must have not
did complaint to manager for such a small thing. So, it may have maintained my good impression
in front of manager. Besides that, I found that I must have control my emotions and anger. I
should have shown discipline so that in case it will help me in my future career and growth.
