Assessment Process for the Learner
Recognition of Prior Skills (RPL)
If you feel you can demonstrate or have prior skills for this unit, it is recommended that you inform your assessor
and apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for this.

Overall Assessment

You are working with a consumer Rita who has disclosed that they were sexually abused as a child. As a result of
this abuse Ritahas used alcohol and drugs to cope with and block out the abuse that has occurred. Rita admits that
she is now an addict and has resorted to prostitution as a means to support her drug habit.

situation to support Rita.
