INTRODUCTION
Child abuse refers to not only physical abuse but it also includes the physical violence which
are directed at child. This can refer to a form of maltreatment in which they are not getting better
care and face different type of violence or threatening. Child abuse also include neglect which
causes of the main reason for the child abuse. Child abuse may include the failure to act by
caregiver or parent which can lead to create an impact on harm and different maltreatment which
needs to get better and effective care. There is different form of child abuse which includes
physical abuse, emotional or psychological abuse, physical neglect, emotional or psychological
neglect, sexual abuse and others (Glaser and et. al., 2018). There are large number of population
are getting highly affected through this child abuse. According to Crime survey for England and
Wales (CSEW) estimated that there are about one in five aged between 18 to 74 have
experienced child abuse which can have at least one form which includes emotional abuse,
sexual abuse, witnessing domestic violence. There were about 52260 children within England
who were subjected to get protection plan (CPP) and about 2820 children were getting child
protection register (CPR) within Wales. They have experienced neglect or any type of child
abuse from which they needed to get protection. Here, Children Act 1989 has been chosen
legislation which includes the Act of parliament and allocates duties to local authorities, parents,
courts and other agencies. This help to ensure about safeguarding and welfare of children. This
legislation has the aim to give protection and rights to protected through any type of abuse or
exploitation and get safeguarding against any type of child abuse (Szabo, 2019).
