2.1 Provide Experiences to Support Children's Play and Learning
It is very important to involve and support the playing while making the thing learn to the
children's as this helps them in improving the cognitive, physical, emotional as well as the social
well being of the children's. Through playing, children's enables to learn about the things around
the world as well as the overall environment. It helps them in developing the skills such as the
confidence, self-esteem, resilience, interaction and many more. Playing is considered as the
enjoyable as well as the natural way for the development and keeping the children's active while
learning the new things. Having the good physical as well as the mental health it is very
important for the children's to learn the skills of the life.
There are many activities practised in the classroom which helps in learning through
supporting the play. These activities are such as the-
Sand: This play helps as well as provides the opportunity to the children's for the scientific
learning and development of the self confidence. This enables the children's to learn the how
things work by scooping, pouring ans many more.
Water Play: This is also similar to the sand play which helps the children's by doing the practical
experiments in the safe environment by understanding the basic terms and the concepts such as
the volume.
Such activities when involved helps the children's to learn the things in the better way as well as
provides them the environmental knowledge.
Planning of two play environments-
Outdoor Play environment:
This is the environment which involves open-air space where the activities occurs and it is the
play space in which the children's will help them in learning the things while playing.
When the children's are exposed to the environment, this helps them in learning the
things more better which ultimately develops them. This enables them to respond for their
individual as well as the personal needs. The children's at early age likes to see the practical
things as by this learn the things very quickly as well as it enhances the physical environment.
The children's at this age are much curious to learn the new things and so when the playing is
involved in the classroom this helps them in learning the new things. There are number of the
benefits to the children's of playing outside as this helps them in staying healthy as well as active.
