CHRISTIANITY

Introduction
• Christianity is one of the oldest religious faith existing in
the world.
• It believes in the aspects of peace and love and therefore,
it resonates within me at a deeper level.
• The religious doctrines of Christianity makes me a good
human being and helps me to find a way of life which is
filled with compassion and respect.

Historical background
• The religious faith of Christianity was first advocated by Jesus Christ.
• He was born in Jerusalem in the Middle East region of the world.
• However, in the initial days, the other individuals of the society termed
him as a heretic and crucified him.
• It was only after his death that the faith of Christianity was born,
marking the First century AD (Donovan 2019).

Geographical location and its importance in religion
• The Christian faith is observed to be concentrated mainly in the
western countries of the world like that of the United States of
America and Europe (Stott 2017).
• Geographical location of the faith helps us to identify the
personality of the people living in those parts and their outlook
towards life.
• Thus, it can be seen that the people hailing from these countries
are usually more accommodating and filled with compassion.
