Research question through making use PICO framework PICO framework is evidence based practice or tool that focus on key elements such as population, intervention, comparison and outcome in order to plan and implement an particular strategy that could be used to treat the patient. So it is mainly used to develop literature search strategiesor for systematicreview. Therebyit is useful tool to improve specificityand conceptual clarity of clinical problem. Patient or population:All the individuals that are living in Australia are population or group of individual that has been selected for the study. There are major people in Australia that are suffering from chronic diseases that have adversely impacted on their health and well being (Adem Sav and et.al., 2015). Intervention:The intervention that could be used to reduce the growth of chronic disease in Australia is Surgery, physical therapy and radiotherapy and psychological therapy. Furthermoredoing medicationis one of the common methods for better treatment of chronic diseases. 3
Comparison: The above intervention can be compared with other alternative options such as removing social inequality, improving the lifestyle of people and providing appropriate treatment and care as they helps in providing better care and treatment to the patient (Petrie and et.al., 2019). Outcome:The outcome of intervention will be that there is less number of population that are facing from chronic disease in Australia thus it will help in ensuring health and wellbeing of people. Research question To examine the major prevalence of chronic diseases and its associated risk for Australia population? Article “Burden of treatment for chronic illness: a concept analysis and review of the literature” and“Coping with chronic illness” are two articles that acts as evidence related to the presence of chronic diseases in Australia and the way it can be easily overcome.
