The purpose of this form is to nominate for the application design and development project
for the organization that is to be made as a part of the course CIS 8501.
Mobile Application
Organisation: The organization which we choose to develop a mobile application for is a
non-profit organization (NGO) named “Habitat for Humanity”. This NGO already has its
website for user interaction, but in these times of digital revolution having an android
application for the same can dramatically increase their outreach globally. Android app will
allow the organization to track the outreach of its users in real time. Additionally, increased
outreach will result in more donations which eventually help the organization in their noble
cause. Volunteers of this NGO are facing difficulties to interact with each other regarding
works assign and available to them, the Android application will help them to coordinate
their work more efficiently, thus improving the efficiency of the organization by optimizing
the use of human resources.
