Introduction
In 1964, The USA had an act named as ‘Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964’, which
states that forbid discrimination by the private business owners depends on the origin, races,
color and religions (Wiley, 2015, pp. 308-312). This act aim was to end segregation and
discrimination in the workplace. However, this act does not include some of the important
aspects, which later on creates problems in society. Under this anti-discrimination law,
businesses have the right to refuse services to the people, only when the business is not
discriminating at the national level.
After the elections in The US, President Donald Trump will enact some populist
policies that might influence the labor resources leadership and diversity (Edsall, 2017). In
addition, these policies might influence US Businesses also. In this assignment, there is a
discussion on these policies.
The Potential policy and its impact
In the recent situations, Trump's actions show authoritarian xenophobic rampage, this
had taken him to the White House. These actions and policies raised many questions against
the Trump presidency. In 2016, ‘President for all Americans’ these were the words delivered
by Trump in the speech after achieving victory in elections (Los Angeles Times, 2016).
However, in past years, Trump administration might not fully support the ideology of one
nation, which he promised earlier as he proposed some of the policies such as ‘Muslim Ban’.
In addition, he directs the administration to exclude transgender individuals from the military
(Watkins & Tseng, 2019). The executive order under Trump’s Presidency puts a severe
restriction on immigrates and refugees from seven Muslim countries. However, some of the
policies, which now generally followed by the USA are America First, Economic policy of

Donald Trump, Transgender personnel in the USA military, Trump Tariff and social policy
by Donald Trump. Under Trump presidency, there might be the proposition of ‘the rights of
the religious to deny service to others’. This implication of policy might give ‘the right to the
business to deny services to others based on religion’, political beliefs, personal beliefs,
wearing and sexual orientation. If there are changes in the policies, it might promote the
rights of the religious to deny service to others, which influence business leaders and
diversity ( Dierendonck, Knippenberg, & Pieterse, 2013, pp. 782-804). It affects and arise the
issues in immigration, a federal hiring freeze, the travel ban, Wall Street and a private prison.
In the case of the Travel ban, Trump’s pass the executive order, which states that the
Seven Muslim countries temporarily not allowed travelling to the USA and there was the
suspension order for all the refugees at that time (BBC, 2017). In addition, people caught at
the airport detained and the people flew back to the countries where they came from. These
changes made to avoid legal challenges. Moreover, they want the smooth implementation of
it but this order affects the million people. These changes in policy also affect the US
business, as the efficient employees who belong to these countries had to leave their jobs,
which gives the negative impact on firm’s profitability, leads to the heavy losses in the
business of the USA. In the case of immigration, Trump enacted immigration law, which
affects millions of undocumented immigrants in the USA (Pierce, Bolter , & Selee, 2018).
Moreover, In the case of the federal hiring freeze, there is the ample number of the executive
branch in which millions of employees had floated and freeze the new hiring of the
employees (Jacobson, 2018). This had done to reduce the workforce. However, this action
was not applicable to the military forces as Trump wants to increase defense spending.
These policies change the business environment of the USA, which leads to the
change in the mindset of the business leaders. They caught into the dilemma of whether to
support these changes and go with the flow or to oppose these policies. As if they support
