He came under the lime light of international media due to hisimmigration policies proposed right after he came in power. The policies got attraction due to itshigh association with religion, race, ethnicity, economy etc. The immigration policies proposedby Trump draw clear line, discriminating people in terms of the above mentioned. DiscussionTrump on September of 2017 proposed restriction on immigration from eight selectedcountries are Chad, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela and Yemen. Theimmigration permit according to this policy will be depending on the level of security measurestaken by the country1. However, federal court halted the policy as it focuses primarily on theMuslim countries that are unconstitutional according to the USA constitution. Actions on therefuge on the other hand restrict eleven countries from entering the USA. This provides controlover the number of refuges in the country limiting it to 50,000 per year. Another measurementtaken by President Trump on the immigration is the proposal of wall on the border with Mexico2.This is to stop illegal immigration for Mexico.
