Cloud computing is an advanced technology which is used by many business
communities for growing their business. It is very important to identify and
evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of cloud computing of business
for the companies and this research focus will focus on the key aspects of
cloud computing along with the benefits and limitations. There are
numerous research questions for this research which are described below:
What is the concept behind cloud computing?
What is the impact of cloud computing on business?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of cloud computing on
business?
How cloud computing helps companies for growing their business?
All these research questions will be analyzed in this investigation and a
literature review will be conducted for solving such kinds of research
problems. It is observed that cloud computing is more effective technology
which is able to manage data of the consumers in an effective way and grow
businesses of the organization. Security is a key issue related to cloud
computing that leads to data breach-related issues in companies. This
research will critically review the key features of cloud computing and
analyze the challenges faced by companies while using cloud-related
services.
Discussion of major theories and models
Cloud computing is the on-demand availability of computer system sources
including computing without direct active management by the consumers. It
is mainly used in companies in order to define data centres available to
numbers of consumers over internet connections. From the recent
investigation, it is examined that cloud computing relies on sharing of

sources in order to achieve coherence and economies of scale (Singh, and
Chatterjee, 2015). According to Chou’s theories of cloud computing, there
are major three delivery methods included in cloud computing, for example,
software as a service, infrastructure as a service and platform as a service.
The 5-3-2 principle of this theory evaluate the essence and scopes the
subject domain of cloud technology and identify the advantages and
disadvantages of cloud computing.
It is examined that there are three models includes in cloud computing, for
example, PaaS, IaaS and SaaS (Apostu, et al., 2014). This research mainly
focuses on the benefits and drawbacks of the cloud computing technology
which can help the readers for understanding and analyzing the importance
of such information technology in the business communities.
Literature review
It is examined that cloud computing is a common topic for the research and
numerous papers were published in the last five years which will be
discussed and reviewed in this section. The key goal of the literature review
is to examine the viewpoints of other experts on cloud computing and its
advantages and disadvantages and evaluate the findings of previous studies.
Alzahrani, Alalwan, and Sarrab, (2014) argued that cloud computing is an
information technology which includes delivering hosted services over the
computing networks. It is examined that there are major three distinct
characteristics of cloud computing, for example, it is sold on demand, it is
elastic and the cloud-related services are completely handled by the
providers. With the help of cloud computing, the companies are able to
control and handle a larger amount of data sets in an effective way which
helps in the enhancement of businesses.
A recent study identified that the major benefit of cloud computing is that it
is very easy to implement in the workplace by which the companies can
