CLOUD COMPUTING 2
Introduction
The term cloud computing refers to the availability of computing resources
including computing power and data storage without using active
management. It is generally utilized to define data centers over the internet
servers. It is capable to deliver computer-based services to companies such
as databases, networking protocols, storage and many more. Security is a
major problem linked with cloud computing that provides a way for hackers
for performing hacking activities. This paper focuses on cloud computing
security and uses of cloud-based servers in the business communities.
Belguith, Jemai, and Attia, (2015) examined that cloud computing relies on
the sharing of sources for achieving economics and coherence of scale. The
goal of cloud computing is to enabled companies to take advantage of
information technologies with the requirement for deep understanding. This
research will include various sections, for example, a literature review,
chosen methodology, ethical issues, and project plan.
Research aim and objectives
Aim
To evaluate the key features of cloud computing and examine security
risks linked with cloud computing
Objectives
To define the concept of cloud computing
To explain the characteristics and features of cloud computing
To determine security risks and attacks associated with cloud
computing

Literature review
This section of the paper will review and evaluate the findings of the recent
articles grounded on the cloud computing and compare the opinions of
other researchers related to the security of cloud computing. There are
numbers of articles were issued in the last papers where the writers
provided complete information about the challenges associated with the
cloud-based networks.
Hussein and Khalid, (2016) examined the cloud computing usage concept
behind utility computing for delivering metrics for the services utilized by
the business communities. Cloud computing attempts to address the quality
of services and reliability related issues that occurred in the grid computing
models. Privacy is a major concern for companies using cloud-based
networks as the communities collect data from the internet networks that
can include unauthorized signals which lead to cyber-security issues. It is
true that cloud computing changed the way of business in the area of IT
sectors as it provides cost-effective and reliable services to the companies.
Cloud-based servers are capable of eliminating the capital expense of
purchasing software and running on the computing devices. Most of the
cloud computing services are delivered self-service and on-demand which
leads to speed and flexibility in the computing systems. According to
Inukollu, Arsi, and Ravuri, (2014), the advantages of cloud computing
contain the capability to scale elastically which provides the right quantity
of information technology sources to the companies. The researchers
argued that data centers mainly need a lot of racking and stacking which is
time-consuming for the companies. Cloud-based networks remove the
requirement for handling such tasks by which companies may spend more
time on achieving the developed business objectives.
It is determined that cloud-based networks make data backup, business
continuity easier and less expensive as data may be mirrored at numbers of
