attain goals (Carpenter, Webb and Coomber, 2016).
While doing work in partnership they can attain goals and objectives easily and by that
company can attain profits or losses and these profits or loss are managed by partners. Working
in partnership reduce the burden from organisation so that they can bring the changes as well as
helps in inducing the development or improvements. The current example of working in
partnership is that the facility of health and social care is provided by care home. These are
basically small institution which will provide accommodation to people who are unable to get
health and social care from any other organisation who are providing services to the person who
are having health problems. At interpersonal level, interpersonal group tends to operate

evaluation needs to be done. If Alliance health care analyse the partnership then feedbacks as
well as questionnaire can be organised which assist in assessing relationship among all the
partners (Duran and et.al., 2013).
In this government of UK play a important as well as essential role by using the
appropriate policy so that they can provide the best services to patients. The staff members have
to do effective communication with collaboration so that they can manage the multi-disciplinary
meetings. It helps in creating transparency. All the partners of Alliance health care can maintain
the provision related to transparency so that all activities carried out properly which assist in
improving knowledge of every individual person who are working in business entity. Along with
this it helps in attaining aims and objectives. The employees have to do proper work in a good
faith when the relation of partnership can be carried out so that no fraud as well as
misinterpretation can be done by any of the partner. If any type of fraud arise then company
members suffer loss (Glasby and Dickinson, 2014).
D2

There are different models of partnership which is used by health and social care
department. Models are:

Coordinated model of partnership – This model helps in making the coordination among the
partners so that they can do best work. When this type of partnership is used by department of
health and social care then they can provide best services to patients and improve performance as
well as productivity.
Coalition model of partnership – In this model, individual person of the business entity will
assist in making partnership for doing work in a limited time so that they can attain goals and

work should be distributed in a equal ration so that conflict can not occur. All the work should be
provided with one platform and have to do proper working together (Lowes and Hulatt, 2013).
The best example of hybrid partnership is Alliance health care.
There are some models which helps in doing partnership in two nursing homes which
include:
Project partnership – In this partnership, time provides to them is limited and they have to do
proper designing so that they can attain maximum benefits.
Problem oriented partnership – In this, the employees of care homes make appropriate designs
as well as plans so that they can meet the problems which they are facing.
Ideological partnership – This helps staff members in making correct decisions for the
betterment of business entity.
Ethical partnership – In this all things should be done in a proper way and improve living for
clients as well as patients (O'Mullane, 2013).
2.2 Legislation on organisational practice and policies of health and social care
There are many people which helps in doing changes and connected with health and
social care department. The best example of partnership is Alliance health care. It helps in
protecting rights as well as laws which assist in protecting interest as well as duties. In this
regulatory bodies play a important role. They provide the different rules and regulations which
business entity have to follow to attain all health services from organisation. Some acts which are
introduced by ministry for the betterment of organisation are:
Document Page
Mental Capacity Act, 2005 – The main aim of this act is to provide a legal network so that they
can make proper act and this act also helps in making correct decisions on behalf of adults who
can not take correct decisions (Pearson, 2014).
Data Protection Act, 1985 – This act helps the business entity in protecting the data so that
proper processing can be done. Along with this it records all data or information which assist in
maintaining partnership and by that they can attain success.
Equality Act, 2010 – This act helps in providing the numerous array of acts as well as
regulations on the basis of anti-discrimination law. Government have to make reasonable
adjustments so that companies can overcome from barriers which is experienced by disabled
person and by using this act they can make the changes according to problems which they are
facing.
These are the acts which can be used by the business entities and these acts provide right
to possess health care if liability arise in front of them. If they are implementing Discrimination
Act 1995 which provides the provision that in the company no person will be discriminated
whether he is disable or not. For the proper regulation in business entity government provide the
equality act, 2010 which provide right for all individual so that they treated equally on every
aspect. It is right to equality which helps in providing provision so that every individual person
has right to treat equally for services (Pulvirenti, McMillan and Lawn, 2014).
M3

practices along with the policies of organisation so that they can provide proper care to patients.
The staff members have to identify problems and resolving them by using the appropriate acts
along with the rules. The legislation policies which are given by government that are used by
managers as it helps in providing encouragement to do the proper distribution for the health care
system.
2.3 Different working practices and policies effecting collaborating working
When health and social care services are working together and formed a partnership
venture then there are many policies are going to be made in an organisation. Collaboration

faced are like no verbal communication is engaged between various partners (Quan and et.al.,
2013). If there is nil response of changing of information and ideas, it can work as a hurdle for
any organisation and it creates a barrier between partnership. Changing of information is must in
success of any organisation because by passing of these necessary data it helps others to work
properly and in a systematic manner. It also helps in forming the rules of organisation and helps
each and everyone to follow those guidelines. Another difficulty is that all the partners have
different needs and priorities. These made them different from each other and also arises issues
and conflicts between them. This will going to affect the efficiency of organisation and also its
outcome. It helps in working of two various health cares each other and also helps to collaborate
their medical system. The main aim is to just work as a team and maintain a trust, respect for
both. It also helps in achieving the target between the two centres. Due to this concept they are
going to have a high market grade which helps them to picking up a professional with higher
efficiency of working. If two different organisations members are going to work together it may
rises disagreement between them and also arises conflicts between them. So, it reduces effective
working of an organisation (Tang and Smith, 2016).
TASK 3
3.1 Possible outcomes for partnership working
In modern world many private sectors are working together which is treated as
partnership or collaborated venture. Partnership is making between different organisations,
individuals and firms with sharing of ideas and interest between each other. Their is a specific
target between making the partnership and also they have to achieve certain goals and objectives.
Partnership may be of long term and short term and it has to be made for achieving a certain
specific objective. Health and social care sector can be effective and it can achieve the positive
outcome of the organisation. And it also helps in improving the service quality given by them. It
also helps in developing the rules and standard. In business firm, poor communication made a
negative impact over on organisation so that they have to maintain a proper functioning of all the
activities (Yee, Boukus and Samuel, 2013). There are three types of partnership working and
their impacts are as follow:
Partnership working for service user: Working in partnership in modern world describes
modern theme, it facilitates a efficient health and social care. They are providing quality service

to their users. Possible outcomes of these type are it not only focus specifically on an individual
needs but it manages a wide range of service to everyone. It also gives an access range of
education, employment opportunities and training. Negative outcome of this aspect is that there
is a lack of involvement of initiatives so that they can influence the change.
Partnership working for professionals: Professionals are those which have a specialisation
in a specific stream in which they have a degree of that profession. Like doctor can help easily in
health and social care. Possible outcome is that it helps in satisfying the needs of an individual
efficiently and also provide a broad base for staff members for learning. Negative outcome of
this aspect is that they are organising local programmes so very few numbers of people are
coming there and made a poor result of that.
Partnership working for organisation: There are many organisations are going to work
together so they have various goals which are not same in nature. So, it arises conflicts between
them. It is a negative outcome for that (Challenging Behaviour Foundation, 2016).
D1
According to Brown, (2017), the consumers who are taking services they are taking the
best services as it helps in attaining targets. They have to provide proper care so that they can
learn new things from the new experience. Along with this it focuses on work of regulatory
bodies on users of service. Moreover, it helps in providing motivation to public accountability
by completing the expertise of health and social care.
3.2 There are various barriers that are faced in partnership working in health and social care
services
There are some barriers which are faced by the employees while providing the services to
the services user. They are:
Professional boundaries: This is the first boundary which a health care is facing during the
partnership working. There are certain barriers which restricts each and every organisation. The
professional boundaries are different from organisations so it acts as a barrier in PW.
Conflicting policies: This is another barrier which they have to faced during partnership
working. The policies of each and every organisation may goes vary from each other. They are
not same in nature. So, those can be different from partnership working and it can made a
difficulty for smooth running of both these things (Changes, 2016).
Document Page
Attitudes and values: This is termed as the important aspect. Positive attitude towards the
organisation helps in the growth of it but negative attitude leads it to failure. So, it is necessary to
maintain positive attitude. The negative attitude may arises conflicts and issues in an
organisation which hampered it from working properly. Variation of values of two satff members
also creates problems. And creates potential barrier in working of partnership of two
organisation.
Lack of communication: It acts as a major barrier in working of potential partnership working in
the context of health and working organisation. Communication plays a vital role and as a link
between the user and provider. It is also important for different service provider. Poor
communication leads to poor outcome between the service user and provider (Pearson, 2014) .
This can be verbal, non verbal and written. When there is an occur arise in sharing of
information it arises various problems. Hence, ineffective communication leads an organisation
to failure.
In modern world, partnership working is plays a key role for solving the complex problems.
Partnership leads an organisation in the way of success in many areas like developing, nursing,
social work etc. It also helps in the modernisation of technology an organisation.
M2
The staff members of business entity have to proper functioning which assist in doing
proper scarce. Along with this it helps in examining the partnership of company at the
community level. Employees have to learn new things and gain new experience so that they can
do proper and appropriate functioning which helps in attaining success as well as targets.
Further, they have to do effective communication so that they can deliver better services to
patients.
3.3 Strategies for developing partnership status
Partnership plays a significant role in deciding nature of outcome. Health care service
provider maintain different strategies through which they can maintain each and every level of
management. Conflicts can arise due to many working people of different nature. So for
achieving different objectives following steps or methods have to considered properly:
1. Communication techniques in employees plays a key role which affects the partnership.
A communication can become successful when the employees do not have ego problems

and clashes between them. It increases efficiency of an organisation. So, for increasing
bonding between workers active session have to b conducted (O'Mullane, 2013).
2. All the workers should have the equal powers and rights so none of the workers get
exploited. All the terms which can affect legal right of an individual should be avoided.
So, they have to maintain those values which are not going to affect individual interest.
3. It is mandatory that all the decisions have to be taken on empowerment not on
dominance. When group decision is making all the rights of each and every one have to
be properly analyse.
4. In a partnership confidentiality is have to be maintained. If private information and data is
going to shared with that person who is not been a part of that information then the
confidential information is not going to secret any more.
5. Health and care policies which are made have to be maintained properly and also ensure
to follow up those policies (Lowes and Hulatt, 2013).
Company members are going to use creative and innovative thinking so that they will be
able to experience new things. Creative thinking helps them to introducing new services
so that they can gave best quality service to people.
D3
Employees of business entity can use creative as well as lateral thinking which assist in
attaining and gaining new experience. They can use lateral thinking which succour in solving
problems by using indirect as well as creative approach so that they can solve the problem easily.
Further, they can use convergent thinking which have ability to attain correct answer by using
creativity and innovation. Along with this they have to maintain a standard by taking rest for
multiple choice of intelligence.
CONCLUSION
It is concluded from all the above discussion is that partnership venture in health and
social care is very important for the life of many people. Through this many new technologies
are going to be introduced and a better quality services are also going to be given to the people. It
is discussed in the above report is that there are also many drawbacks in partnership working
because all the organisations have different nature of working and various members have various
needs also. They all are going to work in different direction which reduces the organisation

efficiency. Poor communication can also reduces the working effectiveness because there is lack
of sharing of information which leads an organisation to failure. All the partners also have
different needs and that may arise conflicts between them. These issues in working partnership
reduces the efficiency of working of each and every partner. For recovering all these they have to
maintain some strategies which are going to helpful in attaining the goals by using effective
communication techniques and also using active sessions for removing the issues between
different workers of an organisation. In this project, all the points of proper outcome of working
