Part A
The following tables (Table 1 and Table 2) highlight the roster for the
week of 17th to 23rd of August as well as the budget, considering 2 working
shifts from Saturday to Wednesday and 3 working shifts from Thursday to
Friday. Sally and Fey, as requested, have not been marked for Thursday and
Friday with however, Rim being allocated to cover as an alternative.
Managers have been allocated the entire two to three shifts for work
considering the importance their position’s hold. Bartenders are working on
weekends considering the demand on Saturdays and Sundays. As requested,
Xia and Ram have not been allocated shift after 9:00 PM due to family
commitments. At present, the current weekly labour cost comprises of 44%
of the weekly $ 26, 500. 00 revenue and hence, leaves scope for
adjustments if required.
