INTRODUCTION In this modern era, it is quite essential to develop communication and collaborative skills and in top multinational companies, manager and leaders should also develop the same in order to attain the defined goal and objectives. In the same way, current study uses Gibbs model in ordertoreflecttheoriesandmodelthatareusedtoprovidebettercommunicationand collaboration.Currentstudyalsoreflectuponowninterpersonal,communicationand collaborative skills and also identify the areas of improvement as well. MAIN BODY Reflection upon three entries Gibbsmodel isused to encouragepeople to think systematicallyrelatedto their experience for a specific situation or an event (Husebø, O'Regan and Nestel, 2015). In the same way, in order to evaluate my communication and collaborative skills against core principle and theories, I used all 6 stages of Gibbs model which are as mention below: Description:During a module, I analyses that I learn so many things and realize that communication and collaboration plays a vital role in every individual's life. Such that we all working in a team and I realize that there is a need to involve all the team members so that they all start involving into it. We were a group of 7 and they all are good enough to share the knowledge with each so that we all attain our goal by meeting a deadline. Further, during that event, I realize that collaboration and effective communication will helps to deliver the best results. Though at the time of forming a team, we all were strangers and did not know each other but when we start working together and share our good and bad experience with each other, then realize that working in a team and cooperating is far better than work individual. Feelings:Initially when the a team is form, I am confused because I did not feel comfortable with those people whom I did not even know before. But in the same time, I also feelexcitedthatmaybeIlearnnewthingsandenhancemyknowledgeaswellas communication. I did not feel that the outcome of this event will be so good because initially we did not understand each other. But at that time, I feel that with proper communication we cannot perform the work and attain our goals. That is why, I take an initiate and realize that face to face meeting is the best way to know each other and that is exactly, I did. In this situation, I realize that if I use poor and ineffective communication which creates uncertainty and actually, I have 1
no real understanding of outcome (Rymes, 2015). But when I used face to face communication rather than informal communication, I feel so good and it helps me to understand more better. Moreover, though group was already formed but actually we did not know how to manage the roles and responsibilities and at that time, we all feel low but one of the team members introduce Belbin team roles that helps us to manage the work accordingly. At that time, we all feel so good and motivated and from this point I realize that working in a team is actually worth because we all bring many new ideas and learn new skills which I actually learn. That is why, this event stick in my mind because of many good and bad incident. Evaluation:As the entire event is so motivated and best which helps me to develop skills such that by using Belbin team role theory I evaluate that every individual have greater self- understanding of own strength, which further leads to more effective communication between each other (Potter, 2015). Earlier I did not posses any team management skills but when I used this model for better collaboration, I further evaluate that great team can be put together, improved and each of us may feel different from each other because of having different and unique skills, abilities. Moreover, while using this model I evaluate that I am a good implementer and earlier I did not know about the same because I easily develop a plan or strategy, further I also turn ideas into an action and also organize the works which need to be done. When I realize this skill, I feel so motivated and good. Thus, the overall experience was so good and I learn new concepts and thins which will also used in my future as well. On the other side, there is another thing which is not go well. Such that due to having lack of time, we did not conduct face to face meetings and that is why, we take informal mode of communication and use application (Whatsapp) in which I made group to discuss further things. But this leads to create misunderstanding among all and as a result it affect us all in opposite way too. But after some time, we all again start communicating in better way and work together as well. Analysis:initially when we did not know each other, we use Tuckman team development theory in order to develop a team in better way so that each of us may understand our roles and responsibilities in effective manner. Earlier one of my team members did not have a sense of responsibility but when we used this model, it helps to assign the roles and responsibilities in better way (Kiweewa and et.al., 2018). As a result, we develop collaborative skills which will used in future too. During whole session, I realized that I put my best efforts to understand the 2

concept and every members of my team also contribute their best as well. But In the same time, there were up and down but we all solve it using face to face communication tool so that it will not affect our work in negative way. Moreover, I realize that using tools and model will definitely help to complete the assigned work in better way. The same we also used such that earlier we did not have good communication skills, but by using face to face communication tool, we understood the importance of communication at the working area. It is so because due to poor and ineffective communication we cannot perform the work and as a result, it leads towards wrong analysis (Lin and Shih, 2018). While on the other side, earlier I did not posses good team management skills, butbyapplyingBelbinteamrolesmodel,Ianalyzethatworkingassigningrolesand responsibilities as per individual skills and abilities will more helpful to attain and understood work in better way. Thus, I analyze that I complete the work with the help of proper collaboration and effective communication skills and this all are also help me in my future as well. Conclusion:From this, I concluded that this is consider one of my best incident because I learn different skills such as communication because earlier I did not know the importance of having effective communication. But when I used the face to face tool of communication, I concluded that I also posses the same skill but did not realize before. In addition to this, I also concluded that this event also creates further opportunities in my future such that I use model in my team which also assist me to develop team and also manage the same by using Tuckman's five stage of team development and Belbin team roles. Earlier I did not use this theories for developing effective collaboration. I also concluded that working in a team with effective communication and collaboration is more worthy rather than working individual. Therefore, I also concluded that I put my best efforts in order to complete the work in better manner such that I always motivate others so that they encourage to perform the work and when I feel low, my team members do the same. Thus, through effective collaboration, we perform the work and make the event more memorable for us. Action Plan:In my future, whenever I will do the same, I use more theories and model that will help me in my future so that I do not took more time to perform the same work. I also raise my communication skills, so that I will not feel hesitate in future. For that I start giving oral presentation in my schools and public place so that I will clearly present my views in front of 3
others (Forsyth, 2018). Moreover, I will start working on my team management abilities so that I will not face any problem whenever I work in a team. CONCLUSION Bysummingupabove,ithasbeenconcludedthateffectivecommunicationand collaboration plays an important role and working in a team bring more ideas and future opportunities as well. Through Gibbs model, I also share my whole experience which included bad and good experience and to develop future skills, I also concluded the action plan so that I did not face any problem in my future while performing the same. 4
