Notes of Poster Poster Notes The poster will state the communication barrier in the small private bus company and the strategies to overcoming with those barriers.Being the manager of the small private company the awareness related to the cultural influences on the communication will be stated in this poster.The company is operating in the South East of England and deals with the private bus companies. The company has received many complaints from its customers due to lack of proper communication so in this poster, effective communication theory will also be elaborated. There is no senior management authority that can monitor the performance of the company on a regular basis which is the biggest barrier. As it is a small company so there was fewer employees in the company so the drivers have to work more 6 days a week and work 12 hours in a shift. The drivers do not get enough time to communicate with the other employees as they just pick up and drop off the keys. After the training of the drivers has completed there was just little contact with the senior authority which was creating the issues in the communication. The drivers are working under pressure so in stress, they talk very rudely and intolerant way with the customers. There are many drivers who don’t know how to speak in English which was also creating the issue in communication with the customers. The bus company should appoint more drivers so that the burden of work on the old drivers can be reduced and effective communication can be done. There should be the senior authority that should manage the work and monitor the performance of the driver so that the barriers in the communication can be removed. The training should be given to the employees to speak English properly so that they effectively communicate with the customers. The more employees should be hired by the small private bus company so that effective working can be done without fell stressed. The cultural differences between the drivers and the customers should be aware so that the complaint from the customers can be reduced. The private bus company first analysis the attitudes, interest, policies, beliefs of the drivers and teach them effectively so that they can maintain the organization culture by communicating with
the customers in the appropriate manner.The cultures differences of the drivers create the barrier of communication in the company. The driver practices and customs are another cultural influence on communication in the organization. The cultural influences the communication by way of talking and behaving with the customers and play an important role in communication. Different cultural languages are the biggest barrier to communication which can be overcome with effective communication and training skills.
