INTRODUCTION
Good communication plays an important role in health and
social care sector. It helps service providers as they can
easily interact with patients in an effective manner so as to
know their health problems. In addition, it also helps in
establishing as well as developing relationship with families,
management and colleagues. While monitoring someone's
health, doctors need to ask different questions in a sensitive
way. Therefore, communication is the simplest method of
improving health services, so as to provide maximum
satisfaction level to customers.
SPECIFIC COMMUNICATION NEEDS
Different management strategies help managers to work in
proper and ethical manner; it can also facilitate to attain
firm's goals and objectives. In health and social care sector,
every people has divergent needs and it is essential for care
providers to recognise these requirements and tries to fulfil
them in the best possible manner. But sometimes, due to
dynamic nature of environment service providers are not
able to recognise these needs, thus the chances of not getting
target are increased. Although, it can impact on overall
working activities and operations.
NHS renders wide range of services to its clients as
well as employees; it works in favour for them. The main
objective of care sector is to deliver value added and
standardised services to uses which gives them more
satisfaction and comfortability. The behaviour of doctors,
should be also clam in front of patients. Apart from this,
managers also have to use verbal and non-verbal
communication. Signed languages also can be used for those
who does not know proper knowledge of British language.
In this case study, Miss Gina is not able to speak English
language fluently as she an Indian. In this context, her
doctors are using a translator which would have translate
English into her own language that she could easily
