REFLECTION
On the basis of presentation towards academic skills, present study consider reflection
assessment. I learned several things which helps me to increase my understanding and
knowledge for future programs. Communication also play important role which considered
crucial aspects with different functions and operations. Due to lack of confidence, I am unable to
get more effective in the presentation. Lack of attention, interest, distractions etc. negatively
impact on me so that I am unable to fulfil business goals and objectives. Main aim of mine is to
improve quality of professional communication so that I can manage my confidence and skills
regarding communication in effective manner. Effective communication is more challenging in
presentation so that I require to make several changes that helps to make appropriate exchange
with greater cooperation.
Effectively communication play vital role for the business owner so that it is important to
foster good working relationship between staff and me. It helps to improve morale and efficiency
of mine which helps in presentation. However, feedback is very important at many levels. I face
challenges is that lack of participation of my team members to accomplish goals. This is because,
there are several new people take part it. With the help of meeting goals and objectives, it can be
shows collaborative work with co-workers so that new people also getting part in it. Guidelines
must be followed which increases effectiveness to develop positive results. Due to hesitation,
people not taking appropriate participation in presentation. Moreover, language barriers is also
challenging because of different background and region of people. As a result, I need to take
training session and diminish these challenges to avoid misunderstanding with several languages.
It also encourages intercultural training session that helps to take several advantages at
workplace. With respect to feel engaged by all people, effectiveness of presentation can be
develop successfully.
There are various ways that can help me in improving the quality of my professional
communication. Some of the ways include listen actively to others, ask for honest feedback,
engage the audience in discussion etc. I think I can improve quality of my professional
communication by listening others that what they are saying rather than formulating my
response. Body language is very important for face to face meeting and video conferencing I will
try to improve my body language to attend seminars. I will also focus on my verbal and non
verbal communication because some times it is very important in professional field that I will

note down some complex things on a paper I will send follow-up emails to my friends. I will
attend all the seminars and other activities where i can improve my professional communication.
I will read the English newspaper to improve my communication skill. I will try to talk in
English with other person so that my professional communication can be improve. I will write
down something creative on some specific issues of the country. I will improve my vocabulary
by knowing the complex meaning of spellings. I will take participation in group discussions and
other activities where I can learn something. I can record some professional presentations to
improve my professional communication.
