INTRODUCTION
Community engagement is termed to a dynamic rational approach which facilitates
communication, interaction, participation along with exchange among company and community
for diverse range of organisational together with social results. It is generally motivated through
ideals as well as values of social justice (Nelson, 2017). In other words, it is involvement along
with participation within the entity for welfare of society. It seeks to engage residents of
community for accomplishing sustainable results, deepening relationships and equitable
decision-making procedures. It promises for better engaging community for the purpose of
assisting in devising better public decisions. In this, people generally volunteers and social
workers works collaboratively with others affiliated by special interest, proximity of
geographical locations and similar circumstances with the hope of addressing issues that are
affecting wellbeing of residing ones. Having keen interest in helping community for
accomplishing sustainable outcomes, I have participated in a community engagement program
that is “Carrera adolescent pregnancy program” through which teenagers were provided training
related to daily living, sex, health and wellbeing. It serves both male and female people between
the age of 11 years to 18 years.
The report is based on reflection of best practices of community engagement. It also
includes self-critic of personal development as well as reflection on the ways to perform things
differently for enhancing employability.

Reflection on best practices of Community Engagement
Carrera adolescent pregnancy program is a complete youth development programme that is
organised with the hope of reducing teen pregnancy within economically disbenefit adolescent
(Peterson and Bonell, 2018). In this, I participated as a social worker that was a great opportunity
provided to me by my University professor. To reflect on the important practices undertaken in
the program, Gibbs Reflective model is best. It is developed in the year 1988 by a great professor
named as Graham Gibbs so to provide edifice to learning from practises or experiences. It offers
a concept to examine certain experiences as well as in its cyclic nature, it lends well to repeated
experiences, permitting to learn together with plan from things which went well or not. My
