INTRODUCTION
It refers to managing the coordination and organisation of business activity. Management is
in charge of planning, organising, staffing, directing and controlling business resources for
successfully achieving the goal of an organisation. Tesco is one of the largest retail store company.
It provides online services through its subsidiary, Tesco.com. Reason behind the success of Tesco is
that it provides good quality of products at a low price. Its products & services are easily available
to its customers that enhance customer loyalty towards company. Vision of Tesco is to be the most
highly valued business by earning trust and loyalty of customers. Mission statement of Tesco makes
it clear that everyone is part of the success of this company. This report includes micro and macro
environment. Internal and external factors are critically analysis with the help of SWOT and
PESTEL. Which help in identifying the strength and weakness of Tesco and also analysing the
factors which effect in the growth of company. Tesco timely providing training to their employees
that enhance their skill and future growth which help in achieving goal of company.

Tesco goals, mission and operations
Tesco is a public limited company and multinational retailer that deals in groceries. The
headquarters of Tesco is in Welwyn Garden City, England and core business in UK whereas they are
located in different location and have 6800 shops where they served. However, they diversified their
products in another areas such as clothing, furniture, internet services and software. They now
become the largest retailer in UK supermarket chain. Vision and mission plays an important role in
every organisation. There vision remains same when they adopt the changes in world with business
strategies (Brondoni, 2018). Without clear mission and vision business cannot survive and there will
be lack of direction among them.
The main goal of Tesco is to innovate with best ideas, to be valued organisation and loyal or
inspiring to customers or communities they serve.
The mission of Tesco is to increase development and market share in UK, to be strong in groceries
as well as in diversification market.
Therefore, core values is that to serve customer best and understand them with their needs. In
internal organisation they work as team, to motivate them they give rewards for development of
business.
They follow organisational structure, it is defined as structure where responsibility and position is
divided according to work so that to run business effectively. The information is flow from top to
bottom, where top authorities have maximum responsibilities.
