CE 1.2 Project Background
CE 1.2.1 Characteristics of the project
I had presented and implemented a RFID based intelligent warehouse management
system design and implementation. With use of this RFID system, we can control entry and exit
of the products into the warehouse. It is easy to manage the location in addition to quantity of
the products into the warehouse by attachment of RFID tag. RFID is considered as wireless
automatic detection process which is consisted of auto identification technique. With this
technique, RFID permits to track and monitor of physical world with correctness. I had
conducted the research to point out that RFID is expanded to different fields like education,
supply chain and asset tracking.

CE 1.2.2 Objectives developed for the project
Following are the project objectives to implement the RFID system:
 To design and implement RFID based intelligent warehouse management system
 To analyze the applications of RFID system in various research fields
 To analyze the working of RFID system
 To develop of RFID based on supply chain management system
CE 1.2.3 My area of work
I had analyzed that RFID system consists of RFID-UHF antenna which is being installed
into the entry point of warehouse. I had used RFID antenna for detecting electronic product code
(EPC) saved into the memory of the tag chip. I had then uploaded the EPC which is generated
from the tag is uploaded on the remote database. Based on implementation of this project work,
RFID based system is installed into various industries. I had involved into development area of
the RFID system based on supply chain management solutions.

CE 1.2.5 My responsibilities throughout the project
I had involved into hardware specifications of the RFID system. I had developed Arduino
algorithm for RFID tags detecting and observing the EPC code on LCD. I had then sent the code
into database application through using serial communication. I had placed UHF RFID reader at
entry point of warehouse for detecting tag on the attached product bags. I had developed RFID
application for storing information into the warehouse. I had developed window form application
on visual studio by using C#. Instead of manually enter EPC code; I had performed
communication of DBMS with the UHF reader plus Ardino. The rest of product is entered, kept
and uploaded to server.
CE 1.3 Distinctive Activity
CE 1.3.1 Comprehending the theory of the project
I had analyzed the working of the RFID system. The system detects the tag when it is
placed into antenna range and executed various tasks into the tag based on application type.
When the components of RFID system is connected with each other, then the system will work
properly. The system is feasible throughout combination of the components. Each of the RFID
tag has consisted of unique identification. The antenna is used to detect the tag and it reads the
tag when they are into operating range. I had observed that reader into RFID system operated the
signal of the antenna and managed the information which is stored within the tag.
