1.2Consultation Plan
The personnel involved for all points to be covered is not shouldered by
Shaar Azad. Refer to the criteria list and also the minutes of the
meeting. As for the outcomes of consultation, it should be a summary of
the consultation you had with the personnel involved.
Steps to take:
1. Develop a consultation plan (you can use the template provided or
produce your own). Your consultation plan will provide you with an
outline of whom you need to consult with and what information you
need to gather from that consultation.

2. The method of the consultation may be through a face-to-face meeting,
completion of a survey, email, or phone conversation. You need to
submitthis as you proceed with your inspection, and deliver your draft
report. At a minimum you must consult with the following:
a. stakeholders and key personnel regarding hazard identification,
b. stakeholders and key personnel regarding risk assessment and
risk control,
c. stakeholders seeking input regarding potential emergencies
relating to the workplace,
d. specialist advisors and emergency agencies regarding potential
emergencies relating to the workplace,
e. stakeholders regarding the implementation of change,
f. internal or external personnel regarding legal advice, and
g. relevant managers regarding any breaches identified.
3. Collate the documentation you need in order to conduct the inspection.
This includes the pre-prepared templates that you need, as well as
developing any surveys, feedback forms, pre-prepared questions you
need to address, inspection checklist, or any other documentation you
may need in order to conduct the inspection.
4. Conduct any pre-inspection research required to prepare for the
inspection. This may include reviewingany legislation, workplace
documentation (as workplace policies and procedures, the previous
inspection report, the existing risk register) etc. that may be relevant
to the inspection.
5. Identify in your consultation plan the period when the inspection was

covered by simply writing pre-inspection or post inspection date under
the Date/time/location column.

then consulted relevant
department to sort out the
issues within the stipulated
time and it is found that
there is no hazard
identification in progress and
therefore it needs to be
addressed to comply with the
company WHSMS Policy.
The HSR also found that
specific actions relating back
to the matrix is not listed in
the Risk assessment plan for
each hazard.
And it is also found that risk
controls were not fully
implemented as per the
matrix.

3.3Research Analysis
For your first topic/hazard; (a) please state the information taken from
the WHS legislation you referrenced. (b) You have managed to state the
areas or process to be audited. Apart from that, include two auditing
requirements on how to audit these processes. (c) It is advised that all
research information must be stated under `research content`, while the
`source` section only lists the source. For your topic/hazard; (a) please
provide information taken from the WHS legislation. (b) As well, provide
information from Awesome Landscapes policies and procedures. (c)
consider two auditing requirements for the company`s risk
management. (d) Provide the appropriate training and training provider
Steps to take:
 Review relevant legislations and other sources to determine any
special requirements for the hazards. Ideally these hazards are your
highest priorities from the Risk Assessment you have previously
conducted.
Guidance: The objective is to identify non- compliance to legislation
and then identifying what ‘should be’ done so as to attain compliance
in relation to those hazards.
 A total of (two) 2 hazards must be analysed. Your research must be
sourced from three separate locations for EACH hazard:
a. From your organisation’s Policies and Procedures,
b. From the WHS/OHS Legislation which is available from the
Internet, and
c. From either an Australian Standard or Code of Practice (COP)
hard copy source.
The objective is to investigate what the legislation and Standards or
Codes say about the processes for controlling hazards. These include but
are not limited to: who are responsible, how it should be done, etc.
Then you need to compare this with your company’s policies and
procedures, and determine if your organisation is compliant. Another
objective is to investigate whether your workplace is adhering to the
legislation relevant to having control measures in place.
Guidance: In the research content section of the template answer the
following questions:
o Why is it considered a hazard?
o What are the consequences from that hazard?
o What does the WHS Act say about that hazard?
o What does the COP say about HOW to control that hazard
o What does your company’s policy and procedures say about how

sources have said?
o What are your company’s processes and systems about controlling
the hazard?How are these applied in the workplace?

company relating to risk management.
 Identify training required for staff so that the company will become
compliant.

the Act and COP?

This document production plan is part of the planning process in
making the report. Please state the purpose of making this report. Your
answer is a bit unclear as it says the purpose of this report is to provide
equipment and personnel. As well, state the sections from your

Purpose of document:
This purpose of this document is to provide a clear
understanding of how workplace safety and security need
to be the maintained by conducting timely workplace
inspection and surveys. Workers’ safety management is one
of the core functions an organization and thus it is required
to make both the employer and the employees aware about
the hazards related to workplaces as in this context
prevention is far better than cure.
A report on workplace hazard inspection is prepared on
Awesome Landscapes and all areas including personnel
involved, resources used and equipment required are
considered while documenting the report plan.
