Data collection is important part regarding every kind of research activity. Such
informations are regarded as base on which whole research activity depends (Laurila and et. al.,
2012). There are two main methods of data collection which are mainly used to collect data from
different sources. These methods are called as primary and secondary sources. Both these
methods have their great importance on research activities.
Primary source: It is most important method regarding calculation of actual and real
views of respondents. The informations collected by use of this method is called first-hand
information. The information collected through use of this method is more specific and totally
based on research topics. The different primary data collection methods are survey,
questionnaire, online etc. Questionnaire is most effective method which includes various
research questions which are asked from different respondents. Such method of questionnaire
helps to collect data about different fields.
Secondary source: It is time efficient method which helps in collection second hand
information from articles, magazines and newspapers. Such information is not much reliable as
primary information. But this method has large number of advantages like cost efficient, time
saving etc.
To conduct research, random sampling method is used which helps in selection of
respondents from total population. 20 respondents are selected to carry out research activities
further (Freelon, 2014). Researcher decided to collect information through use of primary source.
For this purpose, questionnaire is developed which consists three questions regarding importance
of artificial intelligence on computer based systems to perform their different functions.
2.3: Research feasibility
Artificial intelligence are shown by machines during performance of their different
functions. This intelligence has great impact on improving the efficiency of computer based
systems to conduct their different activities. These systems has great contribution regarding
digitisation of the research process. As many advantages are attain by researchers like time

saving , cost efficient, easy to comparison etc. Primary source of data collection is more
efficient. Questionnaire is used to attain the feedbacks of respondents regarding the use of
computer based systems to increase the level of digitisation in this field. Such artificial
intelligence has large number of strengths and opportunities in future (Shneiderman, Preece and
Pirolli, 2011). The major strengths which achieved by researcher through use of such proposal
are mentioned below:
 less errors are contained in the data in comparison to the information which is calculated
by humans.
 Easily perform difficult task within stipulated time period
 provides opportunity to achieve their targets
As many benefits are obtained by audience also because they provides their views on the
basis of detailed research which is more real and accurate.

using right kind of data collection methods. There are various ways through which data can be
