Introduction
Artificial intelligence is a branch of computer science linked with the
computing networks and smart machines that are capable to perform tasks
by connecting machines with human things. AI is an interdisciplinary
science with numerous approaches that help to develop automated control
systems that do not require human assistance. In business, artificial
intelligence plays a significant character that helps to perform complex
tasks easily and enhance business performance and productivity (Bolton, et
al., 2018). The selected topic for the research is related to the computer
science discipline where the benefits and drawbacks of AI technology in
businesses will be evaluated and reviewed.
A literature review is included due to their potential to provide the depth
information and highlight findings of previous studies in regard to the
research topic. It is significant to evaluate the uses of AI in business sectors
by which the advantages and limitations of such technology can be
reviewed. This paper will help to enhance skills in artificial intelligence and
reduce the research gaps by providing depth analysis. The use of AI
technology is enhancing quickly and it is necessary for the users to
understand the benefits and security concerns associated with the AI due to
which this topic is selected for the research. Major three sections will be
included in this proposal such as literature review, research methodology,

It is argued that artificial intelligence is a common theme for the
investigation and various papers were issued recently which will be
highlighted and reviewed in this investigation. The significance of this
chapter is to evaluate the benefits and challenges linked with artificial
intelligence along with their applications in the business sectors.
Castelluccio, (2017) reported that AI is a computing technology that is
capable to simulate human intelligence in machines that can be used for
performing business operations effectively. The use of AI technology is
growing rapidly and many business communities are moving towards AI-
based networks due to their potential to enhance business performance and
manage complex situations effectively. From a recent study, it is found that
AI has the potential to interconnect computing machines with human things
and implement automated control systems that are beneficial for the
companies. Amazon is the best example of AI technology that uses AI-based
robots and systems for solving queries of consumers and managing
products in the warehouses.
Dirican, (2015) reported that the presence of AI systems helps business
communities like banking, financial, e-commerce and others to address
human errors and complete the work with better results. In this modern
era, more than 67% of the companies are utilizing artificial intelligence and
lead organizational performance in an appropriate manner. The previous
