Small scale research is the brief or limited level of research, in which aim or intention is
limited as well as led for development of methodology such as research design, sampling or data
collection is also limited (Lin and Chen, 2012). This research study is not in detailed format, but
having effective scope to carry out aim or purpose in a profitable manner. For this project,
research methodology is term as process with help of which statistical & planning for data
collection is applied and techniques that can be useful in case of deciding tools for data

collection such as primary or secondary tools. The research methodology such as in context of
this research project is as follows:
Qualitative & quantitative research: Qualitative research is prominently a part of the
exploratory research. It is useful to achieve an understanding of the underlying reason, opinion as
well as people motivation. This research is mainly linked to uncover trend in the thought process
and dive deeper into the process. In this, focus is to ascertain and collect qualitative data or info
by some important method of focus group and undertaking an individual interview. Whereas,
quantitative research is mainly used to identify & quantify the major problem by gathering data
or information that will be transformed to the usable statistics.
In this type of the research, quantitative research uses measurable data to develop facts
and uncover pattern in research. Some common methods of quantitative research are as surveys,
face to face interviews etc. In this research study, quantitative method will be used to ascertain
valid solution and implemented accordingly.
Data collection: This involves collection of an information using set of tool such as book,
journal, interview from the people etc. basically in research, data collection is of two types such
as primary & secondary tool (Jones and Lubinski, 2012). On one side, primary data collection is
the strategic process in which data is collected by taking review, survey, interview etc. while on
other hand, secondary data collection is a tool, in which information is collected using book,
journals, magazine, article etc. In this research study, primary research is using to get collects
data/information to find people matter of choice on any defined topic or an information.
Sample size: In this research study, sample size of 40 respondents has been taken &
data/information would be collected using survey, interview and observation from people. For
this research study, prominent customers of the H&M are their respondent to accumulate
supported information.
Questionnaire: In this research study, questionnaire is one of the best tool which will be
used to collect valuable data and information out of the selected respondents randomly. Set of 8
questions will be prepared and will be asked to respondents using paper mode, electronic or
