INTRODUCTION
The practise of presenting a third party with advice on a subject in exchange of a fee is
known as consulting. The advisory or delivery programmes are included as a part of the service.
The consultancy companies are contracted to assist their customers with a problem that requires
specialised experience or information that is unavailable on the clients end. Regent Group is
taken as the base company. Regent group is a company that is based in London, specialise is in
the field of education. It also runs an operator primary school, two independent colleges and
Acorn House College. In this report, it covers the valuation of skill development across the
project, reflection on the skill gaps an address for the same. Along with this it also includes the
employability and readiness for applying to graduation level jobs.
Task one
I am grateful that I got chance to conduct the study on the topic consultancy in practise
which helped me In developing and also enhancing my skills. From the report, I have analysed
that there are various skills in which I have developed such as technical skills. Technical skills
are must as theses skills are helpful in getting the knowledge through online sources. As the
world is working upon different emerging technologies, everything is almost going online. The
online education is interactive as well as a user can able to implement different situation can see
in a practical manner. The teachers did not know about the different technologies in which they
are not able to teach the students. For this, there are tending different types of workshops so that
they want to teach their children with the help of technologies in classroom. Along with this I
also get an opportunity to enhance my creativity skill as the teachers are using their creativity
side for teaching to the students and make them learn. Moreover, I also came to know about the
number of issues that Peters faced such as the lack of knowledge about the technology in which
they stick to using offline methods of teaching. Another problem was personal expertise. I didn’t
knew about various consultancy firms in which they provide assistance to student to get jobs. I
didn’t really know the teachers are facing such a big issue while teaching. It was shocking for me
to know that teachers are more towards the side of offline teaching and hesitate in using
technology as they didn’t knew about the new emerging technologies. Furthermore, I didn’t
know that Regent Group has many colleges and schools as I thought that it is just a consultancy
firm. They have five thriving campuses and these campuses are situated in Wembley, Kingsbury,

Harrow, South Hall and London. I also came to know that teachers are getting trained for getting
knowledge and using of technology for teaching the students. Also teachers are ready to train
themselves but it might lead to a slower in action. Also a wide range of tools are available for
children to use by the teachers in learning. The use of technology would save the time as well as
put less pressure on teachers when teaching to the students. When I was evaluating this project, I
gain confidence in learning new things the help of emerging technologies as well as I was able to
generate new ideas and explore my creativity side. When I get to know the teachers have lack of
knowledge and using of technology, the level of my confidence automatically get slow but it
went up when I came to know that teachers are trained themselves as well as attending various
workshops so that they can use technology and teach their students. When I was evaluating this
project, I came to know about the consulting firms which helps students in supporting and helps
in future career goals. This assist me in getting more confident about getting job or internship.
From the overall evaluation of the project, I was able to develop as well as enhance my skills
such as technical skills and creativity skills. This both skill are important in professional as well
as in personal life as it assists in many situations Where I have to use my creativity to execute the
things. As new technologies are launching day by day, I have to keep updating myself as the
world is using the latest technology.
Task two
Action plan is a well organised document that uses a specific methodology to identify
priorities objectives. The task must be completed as the people responsible for creating each
other and monitor the success of each initiative in order to produce the best outcomes.
From the above evaluation in task one, it can be identified that there are various skill gaps
which are needed to be considered for development and also to be successful in the business
career. These skills include technical skills, personal expertise and creative skills. These skills
are important in both aspects of personal as well as professional lives. In order to fill these gaps,
an action plan has been mentioned below:
