INTRODUCTION
It is very essential or the business organisation to consult a organisation in order to
expand its business. The consulting in practice is a business organisation who helps the other
firm in order to take a right decision (Ormerod, 2021). It is very important for the LSST to
consult to the person in order to expand its business. The business consulting is from evolving
from customer expectations and emerging technologies to more nimble companies which are
entering industries. As businesses are at risk and there is need to consultant in order to know the
appropriate approach for the development of the business enterprise (Worrall, and et.al., 2018).
This report will include the reflection on the various topic as as skills developed while going
through the project, what new things to know about, level of confidence improved, learning in
future career, three skills gaps where development is required at last a job description with CV.
MAIN BODY
Which skills have you developed and/or enhanced as a result of the project?
There are various skills which I have developed and enhanced as a result of the project
as it included a plan which has to be developed in order to achieve the goals and objectives. The
LSST university need to expand its business for which there were requirement of the expansion
of the organisation in the market. The skills which was developed are discussed below;
 Team management skills- This was the skill which I was able to develop while working
for the project which was assigned in order to complete it within the limited time period.
It is very important to manage time and complete the task within the limited time period
(Weck, 2021).. The client has govern limited time period in order to develop the
expansion of the university in order to attract students for different courses within the
college.
 Critical thinking- This was also another skill which I was able to develop and able to
think a solution in different ways. I was able to think critically in order to have a different
and attractive strategies for the expansion of the business. It is very important skill which
I was able to enhance as a result of this project.

What do you know now that you didn’t know at the start of the process?
As at a start of the process I didn't knew about the several digital technologies which can
help in developing a marketing campaign. As conducted this project for the client I was able to
learn of the technologies which can attract customers. The sue of the digital platforms has a high
power in order to grab the new customers and also this can help in expansion (Huff, and et.al.,
2019). I also get to know about the various programs which can help students in order to develop
career and this can be beneficial for the success and growth. Also, I was able to learn of the use
of social media as a digital technology which has enhanced in productivity and how to market
the services as a consulting firm it is very important to influence the client the right ways in
which they can achieve their goals and objectives.
Level of confidence improved
As I was appointed to consult the LSST in order to expand its business. This helps me in
gaining various skills along with enhancing my confidence level. Earlier I was not much
confident about the project as the deadline was very close so it made me disappointed. But
somehow I able to manage and took the responsibility on my shoulder and completed the project
before meeting deadlines. When I have analysed the management structure, I come to know that
the university has made many mistake that must be rectified in order to expand. The resources
are limited and the availability of finance is also limited that creates obstacles in my way. It
becomes difficult to manage all such complexities. But I am confident that I will complete the
project somehow by limited resources. This helps me in gaining confidence and all the
management staff appreciated me for my work. I was very happy by this recognition and this
fills me with confidence. As I have completed project, I became more confident that I can handle
complex situation and take correct decision.
Use of learning in future
As I have acquired many skills that I will apply in my future. I can effectively undertakes
the team and creates a foster environment for my team mates. I have worked with my team that
helps me in creating team building spirit. I have also understood the importance of team and how

it contributes in attaining the goals. The contribution of team members are irreplaceable
(Neighbour, 2018). When I will be having multiple teams, this skill helps me in accomplishing
the projects. It also helps me in increasing my productivity. It helps me in understanding that it is
needed to bind the team together in order to achieve goals effectively and efficiently. Without
proper management of team, it become useless and the goals cannot be achieved (Oyewo and
Tran, 2021). If I will face any situation in my future related to my work then I will use critical
thinking skill. I will firstly analyse the cause of the problem and then evaluate all the alternatives
available and finally opt the feasible solution to resolve the problem.
While I was on this project I assist that I have faced many problems in many areas that are
needed to be improves in order to increase productivity and self performance. Following are the
skills that I think that are needed to be improved.
 Computer skill – I think I am lacking in this skill and needed to be improved. If I am
having this skill I will be completing the task early. Modern era is based on technology
that helps in doing work faster and accurate as compare to human efforts (Guix and Font,
2022). Due to lack of this skill, at some point my project was delayed but somehow I able
to manage by adding extra workforce. But later on, I have realised that if I will be having
this skill then I can make the task better.
 Stress management – This is the main skill that I have to improve and due to this I am not
able to focus on my work. As the deadlines are near that makes me stressed and I am not
able to handle that pressure. This adversely impacts on my work and lowers my
productivity. Whenever I face any issue I got easily stressed that makes makes me
disappointed and this can be reflects in my behaviour. As I have the responsibility on my
shoulders, it is not right that I take the stress and that hampers my work.
Job Description
Job Title – Human Resource Manager
Purpose and Scope
The purpose of hiring Human Resource Manager is to make him in charge of various
activities from recruiting of employees till relieving formalities. It is also in charge of keeping

all the documents of employees and makes sure the navigation from entry to exit of an
employee.
Job Location – Welwyn Garden
Position – Human Resource Manager
Reports to – Regional Manager (Human Resource )
Responsible for :
 Receiving of applications and scrutiny of potential applicants.
 Conduct interview of the shortlisted applicants.
 Performing all the formalities from joining till relieving of an employee.
 Responsible for employees payroll

CONCLUSION
From the above project report it was concluded that taking the right decision at the right
time can make the business effective. Expansion is the main criteria that defines the elevated
growth of an organisation. There are various skills that are needed to take critical decision and a
small mistake can adversely impact the whole organisation. From various projects individual
acquire many skills that may be useful in his future. So it is advised that these skills should be
used in such a manner that benefits the whole organisation.
